    Things to do on holiday to St. Patricks, Barbados

    Crane Beach and Foul Bay are about 10 minutes drive from St. Patricks and delightful places to sunbathe. The waves at Crane Beach are great for body surfing and windsurfing and there is a protected cove to the left of the beach that is much safer for swimming. Various other watersports can be tried on the waters off Barbados such as snorkelling, scuba diving, sailing and kayaking. The warm waters off the coast of Barbados provide some great fishing, where holidaymakers can catch barracuda, tuna and marlin amongst other species. Golf is very popular here and there are several courses on the island including Barbados Golf Club, which is in the same parish as St. Patricks. The island has some wonderful places for hikers, horse riders and cyclists to roam with some organised walking trips arranged free of charge. Visitors will also find a few museums and historic buildings on the island such as the Concorde Museum, Barbados Museum, George Washington House and Sunbury Plantation House. There are some other very interesting buildings worth visiting on the island including St Lawrence Church and Christ Church Parish Church, both of which are located by the south coast.
