    -Beaches. Extending for almost ten kilometres, Puerto de Alcudia beach is the longest on Majorca. It’s also one of the best, with fine-grained white sand – if you’re after a bit of seclusion then there are lots of quiet spots, and if you’d prefer the convenience of shops and restaurants, as well as facilities for all kinds of watersports, then the portion next to the marina in Puerto de Alcudia has everything you need.

    -Golf. Here in the northern part of Majorca you’ll be a stone’s throw from two great golf courses – Alcanada and Pollensa. The latter is a nine-hole set in rolling countryside, with memorable views of the Tramuntana Mountains. Alcanada meanwhile is a high-end course, with fairways flanked by olive and pine trees, perfectly situated next to the bay of Alcudia.

    -Nature. For those of an adventurous bent, the impressive Tramuntana mountain range is too close to ignore. It can be explored by car via twisting lanes, but also has much to offer hikers, with a big network of trails, all varying in difficulty. It’s a beautiful landscape, covered in fragrant pine forest that conceals historic churches and hunting shelters.
