Rouffignac-de-Sigoules is near the trailhead for two walking routes – one 10 kilometres in length and the other six kilometres, both allowing walkers to enjoy the lush greenery, vineyards, streams, rolling hills and woodland that make up the landscape. The routes also connect with a larger network of more than 300 kilometres.

    -Local history. Rouffignac-de-Sigoules boasts a Romanesque church and some attractive medieval buildings. Also close are Eymet and Issegeac. The former is a beautiful bastide town with a medieval centre boasting stone and half-timbered houses. Issigeac is also medieval, with buildings dating between the 1200s and 1500s, as well as a 17th Century Chateau, which now houses the tourism office.
