    -Beaches. Much of the craggy west coast of the Istrian Peninsula is protected as a natural park, ensuring that the beaches are unspoiled. There are 14 to choose from in just the immediate area, including the one at Zlatni Rt around 14 kilometres away. It’s a beautiful gravel beach backed by coniferous forest and served by facilities including a snack bar.
