Things to do

Rhodes:

Discover the capital city of Rhodes, of the same name. Located on the northern tip of the island, the city is home to approximately 80,000 people. Explore the old medieval city ruins and the modern city as it functions today. The ancient city was even built with a protective moat.

St. Paul's Bay:

Visit any one of the beaches on the island of Rhodes. For example, visit the closed-off cove of St. Paul's Bay in Lindos. Lindos is a small bay, and St. Paul's Bay faces a Haraki resort. The apostle Paul is said to have landed in this bay during a storm. Make sure to see the beautiful inlet.

Church of the Panagia:

The Church of the Panagia is located in Lindos. The church is easily identifiable by its bell tower made of stone. It is white-washed outside with red roof tiles, and inside the floor is designed in the kokklaki fashion, which consists of black and white pebble mosaics.

Archaeological Museum of Rhodes (Hospital of the Knights):

The Archaeological Museum sits in the former Hospital of the Knights. This interesting building is bioclimatically designed to cool in summer and heat in winter. The Museum has exhibits on the archaeological findings on Rhodes and its surrounding islands.

Water Park:

Visit the Water Park on the island of Rhodes. The water part was built amphitheatrically on 328,000 square feet of the island. It is located 7.5 miles from Rhodes centre. Slides, black holes, free fall, kamikaze slides, and other rides can all be found at this attraction sure to please adults and children alike.

Acropolis of Lindos:

Visit the Acropolis of Lindos. This fortress was appropriated by the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Knights of St. John, and even the Ottomans. This layered history makes it a difficult site to excavate on an archaeological level. The view of the coast and the nearby harbour is spectacular.
