There are many things for holidaymakers to do on the biggest islands of Roatan, Guanaja and Utila. The beaches are fantastic with the white sandy West Bay Beach on Roatan especially scenic as it is lined with palm trees and very for swimming. Scuba diving is a popular pastime here given the islands are host to the second largest barrier reef system in the world. Other water sports are available at Bay Islands including kayaking, sailing, and fishing with good quantities of Marlin, Sailfish and Tuna found here. There are some good areas for hiking with lots of resplendent flora and fauna to be found on the islands.
