This beautiful fully air conditioned 2 storey villa features private gated driveway, exceptional build quality, large gardens and its own private pool (12m x 7m) with plenty of surrounding terrace and sunbeds. The area also has a BBQ & seating for al fresco dining. The villa is set on a 3000m2 plot featuring tastefully landscaped lawned gardens. A pillared entrance hall, with sweeping twin staircases, gives direct access to a spacious lounge,

Internal entertainment includes a Sony 52 inch LCD TV complimented with Sky Satellite and a Blueray DVD. There is also Apple TV which can be used to enable BBC1 and 2 as well as the ITV Channels. Apple TV also allows you to connect and purchase/rent films. The WII game is also connected to the television for added entertainment.

The Lounge has sliding Patio doors leading out to the terraces & pool. Adjacent to the lounge is a separate dining room which also has patio doors leading out to the terraces.

The designer kitchen is well equipped and includes:

* American style fridge/freezer producing crushed or cubed ice

* Bosch Dishwasher

* De Dietrich Hob, Oven & Microwave

* Krups Coffee Machine using Coffee Beans

There are two bedrooms downstairs. One has a Super King Size Bed which can be unzipped and made into a twin bed and has the additional benefit of a television and a Sky Box.

This bedroom also has Patio Doors leading out to the terrace to the left of the Villa. This bedroom is ideal for those who don't wish to walk up and down stairs and has easy access to the bathroom.

There is also a twin bedroom downstairs which also works well if you have a couple of young children.

There is also a separate cloakroom downstairs

Upstairs there is the Main Bedroom with a Super King Size Bed and en-suite facilities and lots of wardrobe space. This bedroom has a large balcony with lovely views.

There are a further 2 double bedrooms which have Super King Size Beds (Zipped) or they can be made into twin beds if required. These two bedrooms are equipped with lovely en-suite facilities and plenty of wardrobe space. There is also balconies leading off each of theses bedrooms with panoramic views across the garden.

Each Bedroom leads off to a large galleried landing.

Each bedroom has a Bose Bluetooth Speaker for easy connection for your musical enjoyment.

Outside Entertainment also includes:

About John Cushing

It is the 10th anniversary of my Villa being built and I would like to provide everyone with an update.

10 years on I can reflect on some very enjoyable holidays with my daughter, partner, friends, work colleagues to name but a few. All of my clients have had wonderful holidays here and this is reflected in the number of reviews that have taken the trouble to write.

I live in the South West of England (Bath) and my career has centred around Land Development in various areas of the UK hence the desire to build in Portugal.

Each year I enjoy adding one or two new additions to the Villa which will provide my clients with added enjoyment. This year I have purchased a large garden hammock which provides a lovely resting place both in the sun or the shade. Talking of shade I have a new state of the art umbrella which is easy to use and wonderful for those who like the shade with the lovely cool Atlantic breeze. Last year I shipped over a fabulous Krupps Coffee maker and this compliments the gorgeous coffee beans sold at Apolonia Supermarket just a few minutes drive away.

What makes this Villa so special is it's location situated in a lovely Portuguese Village and close to everything you could want whether your on a short weekend break or a longer stay.

Finally my team who look after my Villa have become great friends of mine and I am privileged to have shared my 10 year journey with them.

Portugal has just been voted the third most peaceful country in the World and I think that says everything.

Why John Cushing chose Almancil area

The Villa is situated in a beautiful Portuguese Village called Vale de Eguas just a couple of minutes from Almancil. The Villa is within the Golden Triangle. The Villa is totally private with large gardens to enjoy all the outdoor activities.

A 15 minute drive will take you to the beautiful Algarve Beaches with its superb restaurants & bars. Vilamoura is only a 15 minute drive away. The Villa is very safe for young children

with fencing all around the property and Electric Gates at the front.

KEY SAFETY OPTION

If you have young children and require a fence round the swimming pool this can be erected for safety and peace of mind.

The Villa is South Facing so for those who adore the sun this is the place to be. For those who like a bit of shade we have allowed for this when we built the Villa.

The Villa gives me immense joy, fun and relaxation every time I visit. It has all the ingredients whether I'm with my beautiful 9 year old daughter and sometimes her friends or the buzz of going with my friends...... it is the perfect getaway !

What makes this villa unique

The Villa is built in a fabulous location only 15 minutes from Faro Airport.

Situated in a quite Portuguese Village the Villa is just 5 minutes walk from a superb Portuguese Restaurant and a short taxi ride to numerous restaurants serving exquisite menu's to the locals and tourists

Apolonia Supermarket is just a five minute drive and has a fresh fish and meat counter. This Supermarket also bakes the best bread including the most wonderful Baguettes. Apolonia Supermarket is very similar to Waitrose in the UK.

Children will love the Water Park which is only a 7 minute car ride away (Aqua Park). This Water Park has expanded just recently and is simply awesome.........until your kids persuade you to to go down the black tunnel !!!!

There is also a smaller Water Park only 35 minutes drive from the Villa which is our favourite called Slide & Splash.

There is also a fun Go Karting facility just 5 minutes from the Villa. There are two tracks one for the little ones the other a full blown professional track for older children and adults.

There are fabulous golf courses within a 15 minute drive at Vale do Lobo and Quinta de Lago.

The Villa has numerous outdoor facilities such as a trampoline (fully secured) table tennis outdoor pool table and football table and even football goals in the gardens and small ones for fun in the pool. There is also a swing for minors.

KEY SAFETY OPTION

We can erect a fence around the swimming pool for your children's safety thus enabling you to relax.....please just ask

I now have a wonderful e-book which describes the Villa in more detail as well as providing information on places to visit such as markets, beaches, golf courses ,Portuguese restaurants serving the ultimate Piri Piri Chicken ......my favourite!. There's also a couple of pages describing some of the Portuguese Language which is fun to use when your out.

Notes:
Linen, towel change & maid service is once per week (more frequent maid & laundry service can be arranged at an extra charge). No smoking inside the villa but there are plenty of balconies and terraces for smokers outside. The drive way has electronically controlled entrance gates with video entry system. The villa has remote controlled window shutters and alarm system.

Peaceful hideaway

What a beautiful villa to come home to after a day on the beach! It's set back from the bustle and once you're through the front gate you feel secure and completely secluded. with so much space inside and out we could let the kids play while we sat around that beautiful round table with a bottle of wine.

If you come with kids I'd recommend giving them the top left bedroom as you walk in. Then you wont wake them while you're sat outside in the evenings.

Everything we needed was here and John went well out of his way to make us feel welcome.

I'd definitely recommend a short drive down to Benagil caves and either get a boat round or swim round. Also check out beautiful stretches of beaches near to Faro and the ones at Vale de lobo.

THE Holiday of a Lifetime

The most amazing, relaxing and care free holiday we have ever had.

From the moment we arrived and went wow, the word wow became part of everyday.

The luxurious villa was stunning in every way but the attention to detail to make us feel like we were home from home was astonishing.

A thoughtful welcome pack, wonderful coffee machine, fully equipped kitchen, spacious yet cosy lounge with a very friendly, informative and thorough guide to the area, attractions, places to eat etc, took away all the usual stress when being in a strange place.

We arrived in the evening and when we awoke to the sun dancing on the pool and birdsong filling the air, we knew this was a very special place indeed.

We don't normally write reviews but I felt compelled to put into words just how much we enjoyed our stay here more than any other.

The owner has clearly gone to a lot of time and effort to ensure that our time was spent relaxing and enjoying the wonderful property to the extent that although we did venture to the nearby beautiful beach, we preferred to stay home either by the pool or relaxing in the lounge where the climate was perfect to escape the heat of the sun.

We didn't see a cloud the whole time we were there, and enjoyed cooking on the outside barbecue in the cooler early evening.

Relaxing

Another fabulous holiday at this beautiful villa. This time for a break with ladies known for their discerning taste in good food and relaxation! The large kitchen and dining areas provided all we needed to prepare and enjoy meals together. We found good quality produce at local supermarkets and at the wonderful Loule market, all a short drive away.

We also visited some great restaurants and used impeccable taxi services. The mid-May weather was good, being warm enough to enjoy the pool in the daytime and to sit outside in the evening. The property is spacious, comfortable, clean and perfect for time together with friends whilst enjoying some space of your own.

Beautifully designed home with everything you need

The house had everything we needed so we quickly felt at home. The BBQ is top notch which made cooking for the group effortless. This place is great for lazing around the pool with good food but also not far from some great restaurants and nights out. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

Beautiful, luxurious villa

This is a beautiful, luxurious, very spacious and immaculately clean villa that is also kitted out with everything we could have possibly needed.

We had some great barbeques sitting on the huge terrace by the pool in the evenings, as well as going to some lovely restaurants overlooking the sea about 15 minutes’ drive away. The nearby Apolonia supermarket is excellent for buying fresh meat and fish as well as their speciality Japanese sushi – it’s only a couple of minutes’ drive from the villa. Also very close is the Chicken Shack that does delicious but cheap takeaways.

The pool is fabulous - large, with wide steps leading into it which is so much nicer than stepladders. I could sit on the steps keeping cool in the water whilst reading and drinking a glass of wine! There is a lovely garden around the pool with shady trees and flowering shrubs which is beautifully kept.

The beds are really comfortable, there is loads of wardrobe space with plenty of coat hangers. The showers in the bathrooms are over baths and it was great to have the choice between a bath or a shower. As well as being very practical, the whole place has a lovely atmosphere. We had a wonderful holiday in this villa - I would thoroughly recommend it.

Stunning villa

Beautiful villa in a lovely quiet location with easy car access to all the main beach areas and activities you could want. Immaculately clean with superb pool and sunbathing terrace, a lovely living area, and comfortable and roomy bedrooms with modern ensuites. We went outside of high season but the weather in March was just perfect, sunny and warm. Thoroughly recommended.
