Grenada villa - Private 2 bedroomed self catering accommodation
About Property Manager
British born with both Grenadian and Irish parents. Our father was born in Grenada and lived most of his life in Grenada. Returning in 1983 to live once more on the island.
Property Manager purchased this Villa in 1985
Why Property Manager chose Lance aux Epines
Our parents choose this property it because they thought it would be a good family home and that his grandchildren would like to stay there and that has proved to be successful year by year. Our family love the island and are blessed in having this family house on the beautiful island of Grenada
What makes this Villa unique
The property is in a prime location, with spectacular views across the bay of the Caribbean Sea. You will feel very close to nature when staying there. The area is very residential, private and quiet with three lovely beaches within a short walking distance. We are not far away from all the necessary restaurants, bars, supermarkets and banks. If you want a villa that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough in access, then look no further. This could be the villa for your Grenada stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property.
That's nice we are glad to know that you enjoyed your stay with us.
Its even better now than before - August 2018
We have stayed at this villa in the past so had certain expectations, so imagine our surprise when we realised quite quickly it had gotten even better. Within seconds of walking through the door our two eldest girls (9 and 3) had their swimsuits on and jumped into the warm crystal clear pool whilst myself, my wife and youngest daughter (6 months) explored the house. After nearly a 3 year absence from staying here we noticed that every room still looked fresh and clean, plus the back bedrooms en suite shower had a total renovation, we also had a suspicion that the sea facing bathroom had a new bath, basin and toilet installed but couldn't be 100% sure. Maybe the owners can clarify that? However the three little tweaks to the villa that made the biggest difference to our month there was the instillation of air con units in each bedroom and front room. If you have ever visited Grenada or another Caribbean island in the past you will know just how annoying those little critters can be, but with the air con running in the late evening and early morning we hardly noticed them and only picked up a couple of bites. The other really pleasing thing about our stay was seeing the staff (cleaner Janet/gardener Franklyn) who by all accounts have worked at the villa for years. Janet is such a sweet lady and very experienced with children and on one occasion was able to baby sit for us ($50 EC) whilst myself and the wife experienced an adult night out eating, drinking and listening to the latest soca music. Franklyn (a vegan who lives a humble lifestyle) who I had befriended on a previous trip was again such a pleasure to see again. After a brief chat with him about herbs and spices he returned a couple of days later armed with his own organically grown vegetables, fruit and various herbs (local coriander, local basil, thyme, chives, local lemon grass and french thyme, mangoes and avocados). Despite him saying that he didn't want much for his produce I gladly handed over $50 EC dollars because I knew that to buy this amount of organic food in a store in the UK or Grenada would cost me at least twice as much. I still maintain that it was the best $50 I spent on the island. With so much information in the villa about places to visit etc, during our stay we took every opportunity to see the sights and have totally fallen in love with the island again, we literally can't wait to come back. Grenada Villa keep up the good work.
Thanks for your nice review. Glad you enjoyed your months stay at the villa and were happy with the little upgrades we made to make our guests even more comfortable during their stay. And yes, we replaced the bath!
Brilliant! Love the islands!
Property is perfect and will be back next year!
That's nice... We loved having you all to stay and of course we do hope that you will be back to Grenada again and that we can have you as our returned guests too.....
Well kept clean comfortable
Beautifully maintained, lovely landscaping and a very lovely quiet neighborhood
Thanks for the review. It was a pleasure having you stay. My staff thought you were lovely guests to look after during your short stay there
Home from home and more!
We came to Grenada, an island we know and love, at the last minute for some much needed R and R. From the minute we arrived and were welcomed by Philomena, the stress started to dissolve. The house and pool were immaculate and we just couldn't wait to unpack and collapse. Our bedroom was gorgeous and very comfortable and Janet who came a few times, made sure it was all kept spick and span. As we were on a very laid back break and had been to the island many times, we didn't venture out much. However when we did Natalie and her taxi were always on hand to deliver us wherever.
Sunday lunch at the Aquarium is always a must for us and where better to stop for lunch after the walk along Grand Anse than Umbrellas on the beach. Wonderful, and large!, chicken Caesar salads we also used the University Club for great lunches and the perfect spot for sundowners on the beach.
We had a wonderful time and really didn't want to leave. On our last night there was a full moon and clear sky, what better for a midnight swim!!!!
Glad you all had the R&R that you wished for. Grenada is a great place for that and we are happy the house lived up to your expectations too. Yes, I love the University Club House, its almost my second home. I'm always over there using their beach and facilities which I often have to myself. Sundowners and sunsets from their balcony are also a must as is a dip in the pool at mid-night under the starry sky... I sometimes find it hard to leave the place too.... Come back soon as my staff found you exemplary guests...
Grenada's spectacular scenery of cascading waterfalls and mountainous rain forest will invigorate you and the islands fascinating history, friendly atmosphere and unique charm will entrance you. With its clear blue skies, golden sands and tropical climate you are guaranteed a relaxing holiday.
Known fondly as the 'Isle of Spice', being situated 12º north of the Equator, and therefore well within the tropics, it is a truly special place to visit.
The warmth and the charm of the islanders will capture your heart and your imagination. You will come home feeling relaxed and refreshed. The landscape is one of the prettiest in the Caribbean, with many spectacular and unspoilt beaches; majestic mountain views; valleys and waterfalls. There is a tropical rain forest (Grand Etang) and a crater lake.
The island is overflowing with banana and cocoa plantations, tropical fruits and flowers and the sweet aroma of spices.
Other Activities: Hiking in the rain forest - not for the feint hearted though!
There is a 9-hole course at which visitors are very welcome. Mens' clubs are available for hire. The course is attractive and well maintained. Professional tuition is available by appointment.
