Situated on a high sunny terrace overlooking the Rhone Valley, the exclusive resort of Villars retains an international air with visitors and residents from all over the globe. Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, it is a city of many museums. The Hermitage Foundation and the Olympic Museum are two of the most popular, but there are also many museums of art and history. The magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral is also worth a visit, along with the Hotel de Ville.

Villars is 115km from Geneva (GVA) airport which is a major hub for European flights. For those travelling by car from Geneva, take the autobahn A1 to Lausanne then the A9 towards Martigny-sion. At the exit marked Aigle the main road to Villars is signposted.
