During the summer months, daily temperatures are blissfully warm, with daily temperatures reaching between 23 and 28˚C, perfect weather for the beach. In winter, although Vancouver is the mildest spot in Canada, conditions are still very cold, and layers are vital!
Vancouver Airport (YVR) is located just 15km from the city centre. Luckily for those of us trying to get to an apartment or house to rent in Vancouver from the UK, there are direct flights to Vancouver leaving from London, Dublin (DUB), Glasgow (GLA) and Manchester (MAN), meaning that we can be settling into Vancouver accommodation within 12 hours of leaving home.
