Treviso is a hugely attractive town in the Veneto region of northern Italy, just a few miles from Venice. The River Sile National Park is host to a wonderful array of festivals and events throughout the year in Treviso. There are plenty of traditional displays and ancient customs to enjoy throughout the summer, although the most exciting events in the park are the Festa sul Sile on the first Sunday in July and the Sagra di Caposile on the second Sunday of September, when the finest rowing crews battle it out over an 8 mile course. The Fiera di San Luca is the most famous event, as well as the oldest, in Treviso, offering a chance to try the finest of local foods and enjoy the party atmosphere.
