Torrox is proud of its historical importance, especially that of its important role in the silk trade from Granada to Damascus. There are still many monuments which can be explored from your accommodation in Torrox, with special attention being paid to the fortified towers which adorn the city, the Roman baths and the remains of the Roman necropolis located down by the shore.

Torrox is 45 km from Malaga Airport (AGP), and a rental property in Torrox can be reached in around 40 minutes from the airport. There are a number of transfer option including taxis, busses and hire cars, but with such numerous cheap flights arriving from across Britain, however you decide to travel, your journey is almost guaranteed to be a pleasant one.
