The clear, warm waters of the Mediterranean are home to a range of beautifully coloured marine life, which nestle in between the masts, portholes and cracked hulls of the wrecked ships which lie around this treacherous part of the coastline. There is an excellent diving centre in Torre delle Stelle, from which dives can be organised or, for the learner courses can be completed, allowing you to do your first dive in the warm, clear seas of Sardinia.
The unspoilt countryside which surrounds a holiday home in Torre delle Stelle is ideal for walking and riding holidays, and there are even stables in the village which takes guided excursions throughout the area and providing riding lessons for those who need some quick guidance before heading into the hills.
The ancient city of Cagliari is just 35km from an apartment or villa in Torre delle Stelle. You will come into and leave Sardinia from Cagliari, and it would be a real shame to miss the town on your rush to settle into your holiday accommodation in Torre delle Stelle. The old city centre is a beautiful place of discovery, filled with many beautiful buildings, fine restaurants and atmospheric cafes. If you are looking for water sports, there are very few which you cannot practice from Cagliari either.
Due to its location, Torre delle Stelle receives some of the best weather in Sardinia, receiving very little rain, and being exposed to average temperatures of over 30˚C from July until the end of August. Even in January, (the coldest month), average temperatures remain around 14˚C.
