It is a magnificently vibrant resort, with many top class sports bars, water sport facilities and bars. The pier in Clearwater is the place to be at night, and if you are a cyclist, the market cycle paths around Clearwater will certainly interest you.
Average temperatures in St Petersburg, Florida are beautifully warm, with a yearly average of over 22°C, fluctuating very little between winter and summer. In August, daily peaks rise to the mid 30’s (°C), whilst in winter, that figure remains around 28°C.
St Petersburg Clearwater International Airport (PIE) is located just a few miles from the centre of St Petersburg, Florida, making reaching your holiday rental accommodation remarkably easy. Tampa International Airport (TPA) is around 35 minutes drive from any beachfront property in St Petersburg, but has the added advantage that British Airways runs a direct flight to Tampa from London Gatwick (LGW).
