St Gervais, France lies in the shadow of Europe’s largest mountain, Mont Blanc. Winter temperatures are obviously quite cold, averaging around 0°C, from November until April, which is the length of the ski season. Summers however are very warm, averaging 23°C in July and August, making it perfect for walking and riding.
