The warmest time of the year to visit Kings Lynn is generally July and August when the average high is approximately 20 degrees centigrade. However, the driest weather tends to be during spring, while November, December and January are the wettest months with an average of 17 days of rainfall in each of these three months.
Norwich Airport is approximately a one hour drive from Kings Lynn and is served by BMI and Eastern Airways, who offer flights to Aberdeen. Flybe also operate out of Norwich and serve Edinburgh, Exeter, Geneva, Guernsey, Jersey and Manchester, whilst flights to Amsterdam are available through KLM. Kings Lynn has its own railway station that has connections to London Kings Cross for anyone flying in to the capital, as well as Ely and Cambridge. Buses run once every 30 minutes to Norwich, Peterborough and Spalding.
