This property most certainly matches up to its description. The location is stunning. Very close to the beach with only 2 other properties in the vicinity. Only walkers and surfers passing by as no cars allowed on the beach path other than to access the property. A minor comment regarding the facilities in the property description is that there is only a fridge in the kitchen not a fridge/freezer. There is however a small freezer in the garage. The property was spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. Excellent customer service from Great Apartments. Would definitely recommend this property and in fact this was our third stay. It’s a breathtaking walk to Filey and back along the beach when the tide is out, then back home to a roaring fire (we visited at Christmas) (fuel provided) to admire the sea views and listen to the waves breaking on the beach below the cottage. Bungalow very cosy, all rooms centrally heated. Scarborough and Bridlington are both a short drive away and Whitby just a bit further up. Visit Skirlington car boot and market (every Sunday) then carry on to Hornsea to the Freeport shopping outlet followed by fish & chips (from Whiteheads) eaten in the car overlooking the beach. Also park up in Scarborough or Bridlington and get bus or train to Beverley, Hull, York or Newcastle. Good fishing off Bridlington Harbour.
