A stunning country barn at the foot of the downs

5 of 5
We really enjoyed our weekend at the Granary. It is a stunning converted barn, done up to a high standard, in a relaxing location so close to a nice pub. The owners were very friendly and always ready to help. Kitchen and living room were perfectly suited for a large group of people. We definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a relaxing weekend away with a large group of friends.

The property was as set out with excellent furnishings, decor, and linen , very clean both inside and out. We would recommend it to both friends and family, first class.

Brooklands Barn - New Years Eve 2009

5 of 5
A group of friends and I decided to book Brooklands Barn for 3 nights over the New Years Eve weekend. As it was also my husbands birthday we arranged for some of our friends to get there early as a surprise. 'Wow' was the first thing I think a lot of us said when we pulled up the driveway. The converted barn was everything we hoped it would be and more! Lovely underfloor heating downstairs, a huge dining area for us to congregate and eat together, a kitchen that had a large amount of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment, a comfortable and cosy living room and it's only private pool - just for us! The bedrooms were all extremely comfortable and warm with their own LCD televisions (not that we used them much) and mostly with ensuite facilities. Beautiful views and walks on the doorstep and nice pubs. I would definitely recommend this for large families or group of friends like us looking to get away together. The owner was extemely friendly and helpful, close by if we needed anything, but also happy to leave us to our devices. I would thoroughly recommend Brooklands Barn. It would be nice to go back in the summer time to make use of the huge patio area where we did also spy a barbeque!
