Most amazing views of sea and St Michael's Mount

5 of 5
We had a great three days at Trevara over Easter and would definitely recommend it. Trevara is a lovely cottage, warm, comfortable and with everything you could possibly need. Most amazing views of the sea and St Michael’s Mount, which I couldn’t get enough of – particularly the moonlight lighting up the bay! It’s a great base for a holiday, lots to do and see and although we knew the area well we discovered little lanes and hidden alleyways in Marazion we hadn’t seen before. We loved the walk across the causeway to the mount, as always, and Sennen Cove, Mousehole, Penzance, St Ives. 'Delicious' café near the cottage was great for lunch. Would definitely like to come back again for a longer visit, perhaps at a warmer time of year so we could make good use of the peaceful garden and balcony.

a very clean and smart contemporary property

It became very clear during our stay that Kevin and Kate have put much thought into what famileis may need and want for a good holiday - and have then provided all of it. We highly recommend a stay at the hay loft, we will be returning in late summer for another wonderful relaxing holiday

Gem of a place!

My husband and I, with some friends, stayed for a week at Barn and Mill at the end of August. They are beautiful, well-appointed cottages nestled in a small complex of holiday cottages with all home comforts – good kitchen with washing machine, comfy beds and a great sized living room with tv. Both cottages have gardens with stunning views over the adjacent golf course and beyond to the sea. There are dedicated parking spaces for both cottages in the grounds and a shared tennis court. The surrounding area is lovely with tons to do. Bude is just a 10-minute drive away with its restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Try a surfing lesson at Sandymouth Beach and a coffee (or cocktail!) at Life’s A Beach. Port Isaac, Tintagel and Padstow are all worth visiting too. We will definitely be back next year. The cottages are reasonably priced and they really are little gems. Highly recommended.
