What a great place! Highly recommended!

We stayed here over October half term - with a little trepidation given the season as to whether we would be able to occupy the kids if the weather was bad. However, we needn't have worried. There was plenty to do, both at the house and in the garden, as well as further afield. The house itself is exactly what you would want in a holiday house, it has been done out with such great care and attention, and with some lovely touches. The adults loved the decor, the kids loved the toys and the punch and judy puppet show. They tramped all over the garden, exploring the fort, the bamboo swamp, the boules pitch, the trampoline etc. whatever the weather, and there was plenty inside to keep them busy too (DVDs, board games, the piano). There's lots to do out and about as well, lots of great beaches nearby (with great pubs too for a pub lunch after all the rock pooling and kite flying has tired everyone out), a lighthouse, lovely towns such as St Mawes from where we got the ferry to Falmouth to visit the martime museum, and we were even lucky enough to get to a local fireworks display on bonfire night. We thought it was absolutely super, and will definitely be coming back.
