Warm, welcoming and comfy!

5 of 5
This was the perfect spot for our large family gathering - ages 11 - 88! The house slept 14 of us comfortably, with 4 teen girls in the biggest bedroom. The house had everything we needed and an absolutely beautiful setting. The stairs are a bit precarious for the elderly, and in the smallest top floor room the window would not open, but with a fan we were fine. All the other rooms had gorgeous views. The kitchen was great for cooking and hanging out together. Modern amenities, with country charm. Owner Kay was wonderful and came by to check on us. Would love to return and stay longer!

Lovely house, amazing location and great family

5 of 5
This is the second year we have stayed at the Farmhouse, Partridge Lodge and it was just as good as we'd remembered. Our boys (aged 4 and 6) loved playing in the extensive grounds. They climbed trees, boated on the small boating lake, fed the rabbit, collected eggs daily from the friendly hens, made friends with the other guests, learned how to play cricket and generally had an amazing time. The place is a paradise for children! The house itself is lovely and very well equipped with baby equipment, books, toys etc. When Sarah found out my youngest son loved Power Rangers she nipped back to her house and gave him a box of her son's figures to play with for the duration of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. We're already talking about returning next year. Thanks Sarah and Aaron.
