great country retreat for large family celebration

5 of 5
We have just returned from celebrating my husbands 50th birthday at Noahs Ark and our stay lived up to our expectations. When booking the break Janet was informative and accomodating, this allowed me to plan the weekend that i wanted. We arrived at Noahs Ark on friday evening to a warm welcome, the barn is set in a stunning location through the vineyards in a beautiful part of suffolk. the accomodation itself was great, warm, clean with all the home comforts you need for a large group of adults and children. On the saturday we went on the vineyard tour and wine tasting, fun was had by all. The wine was very pleasant, especially the pink bubbly!!!! The children loved the games room, this was put to full use on the sunday when friends joined us, along with our caterer ( the tapas and paella co. ) who cooked a fantastic paella. We had a hiccup on sunday morning when the heater boiler broke, janet and jonathan responded quickly, we had hot water and extra heaters, the problem was fixed within 2 hours. I would like to say a big thanks to janet and jonathan, we would all love to repeat the experience and hope to stay again in the future.

Wonderful and stylish. A perfect family escape.

We spent a wonderful week at the Granary and its playbarn with our three children. Fishing, feeding the rabbit, collecting breakfast eggs from the chickens as well as making good use of the treehouse and tennis courts. An idyllic escape that's a short distance from crabbing at Orford and fish and chips at Aldeburgh. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay at DairyHall.

Our family had a fantastic week at DairyHall, we received a warm welcome from Sarah & the setting and facilities were excellent. There is so much to do in the area that a week is not enough, particularly with the tennis court on site & the lovely walks on the doorstep. It was hard to get my young nephew away from the grounds as he was enjoying the tree house and the freedom so much. Having stayed in many cottages and barns over the years, Partridge Lodge is definitely up there with the best of them and I cannot imagine anyone not enjoying their time there and hope that I get to return. Highly recommended.
