Exceptional

A beautiful cottage in a lovely part of the world. Very pleasant view with excellent facilities. Everything was prepared for our arrival on the Friday night, the house was cozy and warm with the lights on in the night. The girls loved the selection of DVD's, books and games and we even had an exciting hide-an-seek one of the evenings. It's a perfect base to visit Eden Project (a couple of minutes away driving) or the lovely little port of Charlestown which is similarly close. For food we can warmly recommend Ghurka, the Indian takeaway in StAustell as well as Wreckers in Charlestown. The cottage is also a lovely place to be even if the weather is not perfect - just having a cup of coffee in the conservatory with our parents on the Saturday morning while the rain kept pouring outside was a memorable and relaxing experience. We only regret not spending enough time there - maybe seeing more of the lovely little pony's, checking the outdoor playing area - but we went only for a weekend. It's definitely worth a second visit. Many thanks Karen!

Great place with a stunning view

5 of 5
We had a most enjoying holiday in this very well kept house, spotless clean with good facilities. The rooms were spacious, beds, linen and mattresses very comfortable. We enjoyed the near-by coast path and a small sandy beach in walking distance. Very quiet and nice to watch the sea or the golfers. We'd definitely come again if we went to Cornwall another time.

Staying in the Bothy

5 of 5
What a wonderful place to stay! The non intrusive, but very helpful owners David and Jane have thought of everything - it's home from home - spacious but so cosy and comfortable. The gardens and wooded areas, were ours to explore, and are absolutely enchanting. Plenty of sight-seeing close by and not far from lovey beaches. We can't wait to return later this year.
