Wonderful stay

5 of 5
We had another wonderful stay at Hop Farm! The Property is beautiful and wonderfully remote for a countryside get away. The pool is an incredible addition for all. We can't wait to return for our third and hopefully forth visits in 2015!

Beautiful, unique, memorable and enchanting stay!l

5 of 5
This pictures of this stunning property does not do it justice! From the second we pulled up to the drive we were open mouthed in awe at the size and stunning scenery we found ourselves in! We had a tour of all 19 bedrooms, two staircases, massive dining room, conservatory kitchen and acres of garden! It was truly magical with plenty of seating for our large group of 19, capacity to all sit together in the dining room and the most stunning grounds to sit in. The hot tub was an absolute winner and the many open fires just helped add to the charming feeling. Neil could not have been more helpful with constant availability and helpful advice for the local area. The days were spent taking long beautiful walks around the property then the BBQ was fired up whilst we all sat outside with our g&t's! In the evening cateres came to serve us a 3 course meal and they were also so impressed with the huge kitchen and facilities available to them. I simply cannot recommend this property enough- oh and the games room with ping pong table was a hit with all the boys! We are 100% coming back here as soon as we possibly can. Thank you Tapnell Manor- best holiday ever!

Spacious well equiped property ideal for families

5 of 5
We used this property for a pre-Christmas family gathering. We were a party of 9 adults and 4 children (ages 1.5, 2.5, 6 and 10). We chose to stay here because of the space available and the location and we were not disappointed by either. The booking was well handled by Tony, the owner, who was extremely helpful throughout. Nothing too much trouble, even supplying an extra cot to meet our needs. The property is very well equipped with everything you need. Plenty of games and activities for children. We did our own catering during our 3 night stay and the kitchen had everything we required. It was great to be able to have everyone round the dining table in the dining room which is adjacent and open to the kitchen. The lounge is a large square space with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. The children enjoyed looking out of the windows to see rabbits and the occasional peacock outside. Bedrooms are of a good size and 3 have en-suites. Bedding, towels etc are plentiful and clean. The property is set in 20 acres of grounds so there is plenty of room to stretch your legs and for children to play. Some of us walked into the village of High Halden which is about a mile and a half away, but worth it for a drink at the excellent Chequers pub. Some of our party found it a little difficult to find in the dark, but this was a minor issue really. Tony did say he would revise his directions slightly and maybe improve the entrance lighting.
