Lodge 24 is like a luxury home away from home!

5 of 5
When we first arrived at the postcode for this rental (have now worked out that everything works on postcodes in England) we were rather underwhelmed as it seemed to be just a holiday park. However, after locating Lodge 24 and going inside, we couldn't have been more delighted. The unprepossessing exterior (like a modern log cabin) belies the beautiful and extremely comfortable interior. The furniture and beds are of excellent quality (our QS even had a memory foam overlay like we have at home), the kitchen is well equipped, the 2 bathrooms perfect and the far view through the large glass doors quite breathtaking. The weather was stunning while we were there but that didn't stop us using our private spa sunk into the deck. Bliss! I can imagine this place would be equally appealing during inclement weather as it's very cosy, has a gas fire symmetrically placed between the glass doors and of course the spa would be even more enticing. We had such a lovely, relaxing time here that we stayed an extra day (that we'd actually already paid for at our next stop in Bath). Couldn't recommend this place more highly for exploring the stunning Cornwall area. PS. Check out Looe (close by) and St Ives (further away but don't drive in - drive to Lelant Saltings and catch the train...very convenient & scenic)
