Excellent accommodation!

5 of 5
Four of us stayed in cottages 1 & 2 over the New Year whilst visiting friends in Ballaugh. The cottages were very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was lovely and quiet with beautiful views. Also, a lovely garden area which would be useful if visiting with children. The village is only a few minutes away by car, and the local pub, (The Raven) does excellent food. Sadly, due to time of year, we didn't meet the owner who was away, but she left everything in place for us and we communicated by email. We would have no hesitation in recommending the cottages to anyone. Lovely place!

Excellent Holiday in Ballaterson Cottages, surroun

5 of 5
We had a most enjoyable holiday in these lovely Ballaterson Cottages. The cottages are lovely and comfortable, surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife. The birds that came to feed were many and varied. The outside patio with tables and chairs was lovely to have breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. We hired two of the cottages, a two berth for my wife and myself and a five berth for my friend's family, who had taken their young grandson with them. The cottages were both tastefully furnished, and fully equipped. My friend's grandson was delighted with the large garden and the toys and games, thoughtfully provided. Our host, Georgina, was very friendly and helpful providing extra towels as we needed them. We could walk easily to the Village where there was a very well stocked Spar shop, serving delicious breakfast cobs and hot drinks. The Raven pub in the village serves good food and beer.
