Light, airy, historic and a perfect place to stay

5 of 5
What a lovely house with lots of interesting history that the friendly neighbour told us about! The decor is beautiful, airy, very clean and comfortable too with everything you could possibly need. Our 6 year old adored the quirky bed in the v accessible loft space of this old Fire station. The listing info is entirely accurate and the owner was instantly helpful (via text) when we asked a question. We know W Cowes pretty well and enjoyed the easy (free by foot) ferry across most days. Lots of great cafe's and little shops. We enjoyed the Needles and various DInosaur related places. Just a lovely week - thank you to the owner. We would very much recommend this property. We even had some nice weather and were able to play in the very nicely floodlight garden!

Brilliant hosts and a great location

4 of 5
We had a lovely holiday in Fiona and Will's holiday home in Cowes. Though small, it was clean and very nicely decorated, with personal touches such as beautiful sailing prints on the walls throughout the property. It was brilliantly situated in the centre of the high street and we enjoyed browzing the shops and restaurants nearby. Fiona and Will were 100% kind and helpful before and during our stay. They were happy to answer any question, gave quick and thoughtful answers, and didn't mind extra requests. They really helped make our holiday a success.

Fantastic holiday home in beautiful Cowes

5 of 5
This property provides a fantastic holiday base in beautiful cowes, located in a quite mews but just minutes from the high street. The propert is set over three floors is exceptionally well maintained and very clean throughout. A lot of though has gone into the property with flush fitting cupboards, a delightful decked patio and a large family bathroom and a very well equipped kitchen. The kitchen is open plan making a very informal atmosphere for eating and relaxing. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The extras in this property really make it: games, dvds, bbq, dish washer, washing machine, the owners are obviously very proud of this property and enusre that it is welcoming when you arrive. The town of Cowes is safe and relaxed with a good mix of shops and supermarkets, however if you don't want to cook I recommend the Italian on the hill and the fist and chip shop - fantastic. This holiday home makes a great location for exploring the Island hiring a cyle (the local hire shop is very knowledgable) is an exhilarating way of getting around - beware the Island is rather hilly ! There are numerous beaches to explore, a surf lesson is family fun day out as Osbourne House. I fully recommed this proptery for an ideal family holiday get away.
