We were a party of 7 covering 3 generations and we all loved our week long stay. The house it'self is absolutely spotless with space for all and more. All facilities and amenities worked just great.
The grandparents loved the "club lounge" - they just came in by Stena line afterall :) and to be honest the decor is probably more to their taste than maybe younger peeps but that as they say is in the eye of the beholder.
Location wise there is an excellent Euro Spar, petrol and Lidl within 5 minutes walk and 30 mins walk tops will take you right into the heart of Portrush.
Big shout out for the Mermaid at Portrush harbour where we had one of the very best meals any of had had in a very long time anywhere, and the harbour bistro which was great for fabby lunches.
Goes without saying this is a great central location for the Giants causeway Dunluce castle, Portstewart strand and the Glens et al which is why you are probably here afterall, unless the attraction of Barrys or the NW 200 is enough on it's own!
The owners are very well organised, helpful and great communicators to ensure those first few minutes into the unknown are well supported and easy.
If we were asked for any improvements we would suggest that wifi internet these days is the norm, although I believe that there is a new Portrush wide general access service (incl the beaches!) coming real soon and to be fair to Gerard he made it clear that there was no wifi right from the off. There are plenty of locations nearby where wifi can be found including the excellent cafe / bistro right beside Barrys. I can't remember the name just now but it does great home style baking, ice creams.and sea views from the veranda.
One very last point is that in the "user manual" it asked that the dining room was not to be used which if you had booked with a view to having a formal dining event would have been a bit of a show stopper so maybe that should be removed from the description if that is the case.
Overall though a full and well deserved 5 *'s
