Great for Goodwood

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed at Meadowbank for the Goodwood Revival and everything worked out great. The village of Walberton is pretty and peaceful with a shop and pub a few minutes walk from the bungalow. Wendy gave us a warm welcome and we felt right at home inside. Everything was very clean which certainly puts you at ease. In addition to the Revival we did visit the lovely cathedral city of Chichester and enjoyed the variety of shops there. We would be more than happy to stay here again.

The railway carriage house was really unique.

We loved the location and the welcome tea, coffee, milk and sugar. (The property gardens would benefit from a bit of weeding to make it that extra bit luxurious). The house was clean and comfortable and we'd definitely recommend it to others, but not too many people, so that we could save the availablility for our return visits. The location is very sort after because it's right on the beach. The local activities were a bit limited...the boot sale consisted of one stall and the amusement arcades were a bit shabby and worn out. The cafe was pleasant though. There's a few handy shops and choices of takeaway as well as some traditional pubs within a few minutes driving distance. Our main reason for staying in the area was fulfilled - our visit to Arundel Castle so we were happy.
