Fantastic Holiday flat

5 of 5
This flat was a welcome break from the hotels, inns & B&Bs we stayed in during our 3 week trip to the UK. Property was very clean and comfortable; owner was most hospitable with a welcoming bowl of fruit. The kitchen & baths were well supplied with everything we needed. Great location next to the river; lots to explore in the area. We would highly recommend this property.

Centrally located, excellent price

5 of 5
The flat, in a modern building, is well-equiped, located near Union street and the center of town. For the two days our family of 4 was in Aberdeen it was perfect. Elaine had stocked the kitchen with everything necessary for breakfast and all the essentials for cooking so there was no need to buy salt, oil, etc. She was extremely helpful and made sure our stay went well. Only disadvantage is that parking is a bit hard to find around the building.

Ideal retreat from the rat race

5 of 5
The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and accomodating for my extra needs. Well worth inquiring first. (It was 100 better than a caravan we'd contemplated. They left their number which could be rung 24/7 if we had any problems, but we didn't. The accomodation had everything anyone could want; including sky, internet access, a dish washer and a real fire. It was spacious, clean and tidy. The patio area would have been used if the weather was better. The photo doesn't do it justice. I would recommend this property to everyone. They will not be disappointed. The sea views were wonderful to the front and many birds flew around at the back, including a buzzard. The fish and chip shop sold the best cooked fishand batter I've ever tasted - well worth £5.95. My husband did a walk straight from the property which he enjoyed, taking in more sea views. The only down side is the 10 or 12 steps up to the property. People with babies and prams could struggle a bit. Our dog struggled due to blindness but we managed and it was worth carrying her up and down in the dak!. A small price to pay and it shouldn't put anyone off going. A writers paradise.........if the sea wasn't so mesmerising. Thanks again. It was ideal. I DID NOT want to leave. We may well be back. This is an example of where expectations were lower than reality. A credit to the owners.
