Villa no 450196

4 of 5
The details of the property were fairly accurate. It was clean and well maintained, with all kitchen utensils ect as expected. The owner was very helpful and provided lots of important/very useful information before we went, and was always extremely pleasant with any questions we had. The games room certainly kept our teenagers very busy in the evening. I wouldn't say it was a luxury villa. It was very comfortable, lovely bedrooms, although the en suit needed a little TLC. The grounds of the complex were very well kept, but being a complex there was often noise from dogs in other nearby villas, and there were many cats wandering through the gardens. The swimming pool was a good size, but the temperature was baltic and it was dirty. The surface wasn't cleaned in all the time we were there. Our children never used it. It was probably due to it being the beginning of the season, and the fact that there had been little or no sun to warm it up. A local shop sold everything, and was open almost 24/7 which was really useful. The local hotel, bars and restaurants were very good and great value. The villa was good value for money, and we would return, although it was further out from the resort than we thought, so a hire car was essential. We did enjoy our stay very much.

An outstanding villa. An Andalucian oasis

5 of 5
This was the perfect villa for us and it had everything we needed to help make it our perfect holiday. My husband and I were looking for plenty of space when taking our children on holiday and liked the look of Casa Costa Fortuna for being on two levels. The villa is nestled into the hillside and as soon as we set foot on to the terrace we knew we had made a fantastic choice. The house is finished to a very high standard. The rooms are clean, and spacious and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need, plenty of kitchenware and crockery and there is a magnificent shaded terrace to enjoy all your meals alfresco. The bedrooms are quiet, breezy and cool and have blackout blinds for those lazy mornings. Our older children took over the downstairs apartment and the absolutely loved being independent and having their own space. The pool area is outstanding. The large pool always looked crystal clear and very inviting. Plenty of loungers to flop on to, relax and enjoy the staggering views It even has it's own pool bar which my husband enjoyed immensely! Booking was easy and stress free thanks to Karena, the owner, who is friendly, professional and very helpful. It was our great pleasure and good "fortuna" to have found this beautiful villa, we can't wait to go back again. Highly recommended.

Stunning home away from home

5 of 5
Stayed for two weeks with friends, family and a 9 month old baby. Could not have been more delighted with the accommodation, pictures do not do this villa justice. Stunning home, immaculate and luxurious. The gardens alone are magnificent. It was a real joy to self cater in a villa with every possible convenience (baby crockery, sundae glasses, citronella candles) you think of it, the villa has it. Young or old you won't want to leave. Great value supermarkets within a couple miles (Carrefour, lidi, mercadona within 5 mins drive). Some fantastic restaurants 10/15mins walk away in Benalmadena pueblo (the old town), we ate out several times and were treated wonderfully even when we asked for a highchair. Felt safe and confident in the pueblo, the walk is a little steep, all members of our party managed fine with the exception of one grandparent awaiting a knee replacement. The owner could not have been nicer to deal with. Polite, prompt and helpful at all times. We didn't have any problems but all questions were dealt with efficiently and he was kind enough to arrange for an additional cleaner so that we could checkout slightly later than initially agreed, this care and consideration went above and beyond. We are trying as a family to work out when we can all return next year.
