Relaxing break on the mountains

5 of 5
A wonderful break in the mountains and our hosts Phil and Hesther were so welcoming and made us both feel special. The views are stunning and this would be a perfect break for hikers, cyclists or just chilling.

New Year, Almaria style.

4 of 5
A 1980s cliché I know, but 'bijou' springs to mind when trying to define Chris' Apartment. My on-line searched defines bijou as something small but elegant and tasteful. Small it is but it does adequately accomodate four people, and the barbecue and roof terrace area add more space to stretch out and relax (a great place to unwind with a good book!). And it is very quiet. Although the road runs past the 'village' at the end of the lane, it had very little in the way of traffic. And Chris was the consummate host, adding nice touches (well stocked fridge, larder and bathroom cabinates, and even a lighted Christmas tree and bowls of chocolates - which made the children very happy) to be sure we had everything we needed. It is a wee bit remote but Huércal-Overa and is only ten minutes away on a good road, with all you need, banks, supermarkets, restaurants, a hospital and the A7 'motorway'. But if you are looking for a real 'getaway-from-it-all' experience, then yes, I would happily recomend it.

A Gorgeous Home from Home

5 of 5
We are a family of 5, 3 kids aged 12, 11, 8. We could not have asked for a more perfect home! The house is beautiful but comfortable and very homely. The bedrooms are so comfortable. The bathrooms are show house quality. The kitchen has everything you will need. The terrace outside has gorgeous views and pool area is heavenly. Don & Chris the caretakers are lovely. We all as a family agreed this was the most wonderful place to stay. The only thing wrong is that I am worried in this review that I cannot do justice to this home x
