The villa is as pictured. The ground are well kept and the villa is very secure. It has a metal gate which is locked, and also has an alarm. There is also a safe in one of the rooms. The master bedroom is nice and spacious and has a good sized en-suite. There is a good sized family bathroom on the first floor, as well as a shower room on the ground floor. The 3 other bedrooms are doubles, but are not that spacious but perfectly functional and well decorated. It is 900 metres to Port Adriano, but you have to go down a quite steep hill to reach it, which is fine going there, but is very hard work when coming back. It is 2.5 miles to get to the centre of Santa Ponsa, so you either need to drive or get a taxi. Cost of the taxi is 8 euros either way, and they will only take 4 people. Therefore, taxis per night for our family of 5 cost us 32 Euros a night to get into Santa Ponsa and back. The taxi service do not really understand English, so taxis need to be booked via the owner. The only thing that was disappointing was the TV didn't work, the fridge freezer could not handle the heat and kept defrosting, and the road noise. The house is next to a busy road, so there is constant road noise, and two of the neighbours have dogs which are put outside at about 7.45 am in the morning and bark and wake you up, which is annoying. However, the property is very nice to stay in and we would recommend it, but would suggest taking ear plugs if you are light sleepers. There are lots of really good places to visit by car nearby.
