Perfect Family Holiday

5 of 5
We booked this villa for a family holiday. Ages ranged from 70 to 2 1/2. We all had a fantastic time. John met us on route and introduced us his lovely home. The villa is a dream; has everything you can think of, the pool is fantastic, our little grandson would have stayed there 24 hours a day, if he could! The sights are amazing. We spent every evening at the villa enjoying the peace, tranquility and bbq. Only one complaint, our time was too short! Thanks John for sharing your home.

Very nice place and lovely pool

4 of 5
When we arrived it was dark and quite late, there were no street lights so took a little time to find as the directions from the roundabout said 2nd left at Cometa 3 where it was actually signposted Empedrola and the immediate right then said Cometa 3 so anyone else please bear this in mind. Also at midnight there is nowhere close to get water and other essentials so try and do this before you get there or you need to go to a pub or restuarant in town. The villa and grounds are lovely and the pool was great, kids were in it everyday, everything you need in the house was there, can't think of one thing i went to get and couldn't find. My only criticism would be that there is no Aircon in the living room and it did get quite warm in there by night. It is a must to have a car as it was too far to walk into Calpe for the kids but there are a couple of local pub/restaurants nearby in walking distance and both were nice for food etc. Calpe itself is lovely and everyone was very friendly, two nice beaches though our preffered one was Levante and the Aquafun was great for adults and kids, plenty of places to eat at night and everything was open beyond our bed-time. Other places to visit were the Fonts D'Algar (lovely waterfalls and good for a cold swim), The caves at Beneloig, Denia, Aqualandia (110 foot near vertical slide!!), Terra Natura and Aqua Natura and Terramitica, all great for the kids, lots more too see but with days at the beach and a couple of climbs up Calpe rock there is just not enough time in 14 days. Weather was in the 30's for the whole time and only ever saw a couple of clouds, would drop to 26 at night but still very warm. Overall i'd highly recommend it on all aspects and will definately consider going back, we have rented in Spain before and this place was by far the nicest place we have been to.
