WOW WOW WOW

What a truly amazing one week stay we had at this wonderful lodge. We were seriously spoiled from the moment we arrived not only by the magnificent views from the balcony where we observed many wildlife including hippos, a pride of lions & my husbands favourite surprise on his 60th birthday was witnessing a lone rhino calmly walking alongside Crocodile river. Forever memorable.... We also enjoyed the daily maid service as well as 4x4 drives into the private game reserve & Kruger National Park & not forgetting our evening game drives where we'd enjoy sundowners whilst watching herds of elephants drinking at the river. On site there's a restaurant but as the food's very limited & the supermarket isn't easily accessible, we would definitely recommend you to shop for the duration of your stay. Before booking, I liaised regularly with the owners Kieran & Patricia McBrien who were absolutely charming & most helpful A MASSIVE thank you to you both for making our stay way above our expectations, so much so, next year we plan returning to this little hidden gem known as "Inyatsi Lodge"........ ~Andrea & Simon~

Fabulous Getaway

We recently had a couple friends visit us from the US and decided to take some time up in Kruger. We found Khaya Romantica on a website and were able to book. We found the facilities to be more then adequate. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the open fire braai area was used each night. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large, clean, and welcoming and the balcony afforded some views into the KNP. We were 4 adults with more then enough room. We were able to book guided tours into the park, which was only a short drive away. We had visits from local wild life, warthogs, impala, and zebra on our very first day. The property manager was helpful and welcoming, we were even given a bottle of bubbly as, from what I understand, we had the pleasure of being Khaya Romantica's first guests. First, but definitely not the last. We would use the house again in the future and would recommend it to our friends and family.
