Fully equipped flat + nice garden + great view

4 of 5
We can recommend to book a flat there because of: very nice staff, big flat, fully equipped kitchen, very nice view over atlantic ocean and Cabo da roca, perfect cleaning service, very nice garden just for the few flats, not too far from Cascais where you have a very good and cheap train connection to Lissabon, little supermarket few driving minutes away, interesting coast in a walking distance, short driving distance to the park around Sintra. May be good to know: Beginning of May was still not too warm this year, so the first days the available heating was active. For us with a small child this heating was a bit too weak. But we did not try the further available fireside and it was not such a big problem - so we did not ask for support. So in general: a place for nice holidays!

Simply Unique !

5 of 5
We loved this very special cottage, built on a wonderful solid hardwood floor. It was like staying in a 5-star hotel suite, with the additional advantage of having a total level of privacy that no hotel can offer. There was great weather despite being end of September already. We had the entire (sea-view) garden and outdoor hot tub to ourselves. Very cute kitchenette (basically equipped, but we were told beforehand) with an amazing view since it´s all acrylic glass all-around. Had ´´breakfast with a view´ every morning. Bathroom was all wrapped in a beautiful black granite, and with ´´waterfall´ fawcets. Well equipped sitting room with nespresso machine, ipod dock sound, etc. Best part at night was the total silence ! we even had access to a closed garage with remote-door. All was great! Our thanks to the owners for a great place to stay.

We loved the villa and Cascais

5 of 5
We have really enjoyed staying in this villa in Cascais. The property is very well equipped, immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating - no request was too much trouble. It was a great place to stay with younger children as there was no clutter and the garden was fully enclosed, not to mention the toys, dvds and dressing-up we found there on our arrival. The only thing missing was a washing machine for longer visits. The large municipal park was literally 2 minutes walk with lovely play equipment, peacocks and a cafe and the local (sandy) beach was just 10 minutes away (children's walking pace). The charming town had everything we needed and we managed quite happily with buses, trains and occasional taxis (which were very reasonably priced despite the poor exchange rate), although there was parking available at this property. We managed to visit Sintra by bus easily (from the bus station under Cascais Villa Shopping Centre) - it's worth getting a daytrip ticket for the hopper bus that takes you to all the tourist attractions when you get there (several are way out of the town). I wholeheartedly recommend this great property and location for a relaxing and interesting holiday.
