Perfect! Like being at home!

5 of 5
Really! This was like being at home. We have got a new mother in Irini!I We can not believe what she did for us, both practical and human. Imagine how it is to travel with a lot of teenagers (two adults) and the whole atmosphere at Renetta is filled with love and understanding. She taught the students about Greek history and gave us stories and images of how life can be for the average Greek person today. She gave us a lot to think about, us coming from Norway and having "no problems". We all thank her for all she did for us and all she gave! Anita and Elisabeth (teachers).

Very relaxing

5 of 5
We had a wonderful holiday here this summer. It took quite a while to find the place but if my phone had been working, the owner (Lemonia) would have picked us up. So first tip is don't try to find it in a taxi! Luna Suites is off the beaten track which makes for a very relaxing place to stay. The property itself is very nicely finished and all rooms are comfortable. We stayed in one of the small apartments which was perfect for us. The pools are great too, theres two good sized pools looking out over Ftelia bay. Although the beach is fairly quiet, there are two great beach bar/restaurants on either side of the beach a few hundred metres away. We went to a great beach party down there one night! I'd definitely stay here again, if only to see my new friends Lemonia and George who run the place. They will help you with anything and are very friendly. Just trying to think of reasons not to stay, errr... there are some dogs perhaps you may be allergic to them! Its on the windiest beach on the island so that means its very windy but this makes it cool on a very hot day which is good really! It is secluded so you will need to hire a bike/car.

A Wonderful, Relaxing Place

5 of 5
I found Agrikia to be exactly like it's description; the rooms were clean and well maintained, the facilities were excellent and the location was accurately described. The garden is beautiful and contains some really interesting plants (including Swiss Cacti!). If the beach wasn't so enticing, I would have been happy to spend all day lounging on the day beds under the canopy by the palm tree..... Marcello and Muriel are SUPERB hosts! The breakfast was good and fresh and we enjoyed several different homemade cakes each day (and got a recipe for one particular favourite) As well as providing prompt and charming service, M&M were interesting and easy to chat with. Aliki is a small, but busy village with a good many tavernas all selling good, honest Greek food. They pretty much all have the same menu but it's all delicious and we did not have a bad meal during our two weeks there. If you are after a beach holiday then Aliki is perfect, however, if you want to see more of Paros, although the bus service is surprisingly efficient, i would recommend you hire a car so you can explore both Paros and Anti Paros at your leisure. Two things I would do differently before I return: reserve a cab to pick me up from the port on arrival as that was a desperate scrum and we ended up almost hi-jacking a cab going to Aliki with another couple who had pre-booked. I am sure M&M would book a cab for you. I would also hire a car for my whole visit as I found sitting on the beach a tad boring after a couple of days..... Agrikia is a charming, wonderful place and I will definately return one day!
