Perfect Stay

5 of 5
Le Manoir is an excellent venue for parties of 10 or more. The facilities within the house make for a very comfortable stay. Two log fires, plenty of hot water, good mix of bedroom accommodation, extremely large living area with large dining table, well fitted out kitchen. Our hosts had provided Xmas decorations and the Xmas tree was absolutely stunning. Like any vacation property location is very important. St Marcel Du Perigord is a quiet village but in easy reach of St Alvere and Lalinde from which you can obtain most things you require. I would highly recommend the property and location plus the owners hospitality and friendliness made for a most enjoyable stay. Will be back soon

Happy customers!

The gite is nothing short of superb. We have stayed in many all over France, but this one is really special. The hosts are ideal, they are very welcoming and always happy to help but really respect your privacy, so in fact the perfect balance. The gite is immaculately clean and superbly equipped with loads to do for all ages both indoors and out. The pool is fabulous, so clean and it is saline, so no sore eyes. There is a supply of games, movies and the biggest selection of holiday reading I've ever seen. If you can tear yourself away from the gite, your hosts have provided loads of info on places to go and have even provided maps to borrow so you can pick the prettiest route. It's a beautiful area, loads to see and do and the local cuisine is wonderful. This was our second visit to Payzac and it was even better than last time, so I am sure it wont be our last. Simply gorgeous.
