Perfect holiday location.

5 of 5
This is a wonderful, clean and well furnished Gite in one of the most beautiful parts of France, it is a perfect holiday location for all generations. Morag, John and the twins who live next door are delightful and could not do enough to help us without being intrusive. We will be recommending this property to our friends and my husband and I hope to return next year.

Words cannot express the wonder of this gite!

A truly wonderful, relaxing stay in an outstanding gite. The owners, Judith and Edward, have left no stone unturned in terms of providing everything you would wish for on a holiday - the photos do not even begin to do the gite justice! It is tastefully and very classily decorated yet maintains a welcome and warm feel. There is every conceivable cooking utensil for budding chefs and the kitchen is well resourced with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The property has amazing views (from the house, terrace and pool area). It has an excellent and spacious terrace which is shaded - we loved having our breakfast there in the morning whilst taking in the breathtaking views and wonderful smells of the fresh herbs and myriad of flowers that Judith tends to with great affection! My daughter and I hired a car and made good use of it to visit the many towns and neighbouring villages which were also breathtaking. We also enjoyed our walks into neighbouring villages and to buy some wonderful freshly baked bread from local 'boulangeries'. We found the area to be very reasonable in terms of eating out and the local cheese is to die for!!! No need to worry about a lack of sea as there is a magical lake nearby where you can swim, picnic, partake in VTT, paddle boats etc. Judith and Edward were outstanding hosts and completely unobtrusive - we loved the gite - its charm of being old but completely refurbished and we were blown away by the whole historical charm of this wonderful part of France. It would be extremely difficult to sum up the gite in one word but if I had to choose one it would be 'outstanding'. Thank you Judith and Edward for the fantastic memories and we will definitely be back!
