Lovely, quiet beach accommodation

5 of 5
We stayed here over Christmas and had the beach to ourselves. The villa is so close that you can hear the waves crashing on the shore from the bedroom, which is a lovely sound to go to sleep to and wake up to. We stayed there with our 2 year old son and while the villa is small, it's well equipped. There was a travel cot provided as well as a high chair and the kitchen had everything you would need. We loved the back yard as it's enclosed by a fence (one of only a few on this row) meaning that our son couldn't wander off and we could play football with him in the yard as well as taking him to the beach. There were also some beach toys and bucket and spade at the property which he enjoyed as well as a barbecue that we made use of. The beds were comfortable and there was adequate storage room for our clothes and cases. The area was nice and quiet during the Christmas holidays and in a lovely location. There's a playground on the beachfront about a 5 minute walk away, towards Latchi (which is about a 10 min walk) and Polis was about a half hour walk. We also drove to a few wineries (within 30-40 mins) and to Paphos (also 30-40 mins). The beach was lovely and quiet and most days it felt like we had it to ourselves. For a beach holiday this is a perfect place to stay as you literally walk out of the door and onto the beach.

superb villa in a great location.

5 of 5
the villa was very clean and we had everything we needed, the location was superb and the views from the roof terrace spectacular. the villa had 3 good size bedrooms 2 en suite and was well maintained. the pool was cleaned twice a week by the property manager who was very friendly and gave us lots of tips on where to go and where to eat. I would highly recommend this villa for families or a group of friends. I would recommend visiting the water park at Fastimo about 45 minute drive and better than Paphos. if you like beaches would suggest Lara beach which is lovely and sandy and not commercialised. we also found a lovely beach kourilon which had some great waves on the day we visited. we found some lovely restaurants and would recommend Costa's on the B6 to paphos 15 minute drive just past the American school best Meze I have had had to stop the bringing more out, bunch of grapes pisouri village great food and a lovely setting. Gabriels in kouklia lovely village square and good value for money. we also found a lovely little restaurant on the way to Lara beach just as you turn off the coastal rd. called sunset the Ribs were superb and good value. the restaurants in paphos are more expensive the only one we were disappointed with was Chloe's Chinese on the harbour. beautiful interior and good service but the food does not taste like an English Chinese restaurant. we had a great Holiday and I would recommend this villa and area.

Villa Timily - A perfect home from home

5 of 5
Just back from our three week stay at Villa Timily celebrating my husbands retirement, where we've had an absolutely brilliant time. This holiday was all about rest and relaxation, plus a little walking, swimming, reading and the occasional meal out, each to do as and when we wanted to, no rush, it's been wonderful. Villa Timily was perfect, it was light and airy, very comfortable and really well presented. Everything we could possibly need was to hand. The beach towels were a lovely touch and definitely saved space in our cases and the library drawer was brilliant too, with a good choice of books. It was a leisurely five minute stroll to our nearest and favourite taverna, Karouzi's as Irene said, and a ten to fifteen minute walk to the beach depending on whether you took the shortcut through the campsite or the road. The walk into Latchi along the new walkway took us around half an hour, but what a view. Lee our house manager and Chris our bubbly cleaner were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. We used Chris's supermarket recommended by Irene which was about a ten minute walk away. Kryos Chris very kindly delivered our shopping to the door, he would tell us to set off back and he would follow on his moped after five minutes, it was great. Nissos Taxi's also deserve a mention as well, who we used for our airport transfers. We chose not to hire a car as we wanted a total break from everything, and instead used their very efficient and really friendly service for the odd journery or two. It was eight euro's from Polis to Latchi and vice versa. As the weeks went on it got a bit too hot to walk both ways to and from Latchi although it is a lovely walk. Don't forget your water and hat and sunscreen though. This was our sixth visit to the Polis/Latchi area, Polis still retains its charm and tradtion where Latchi has expanded somewhat since our last visit a few years ago, the new marina is quite impressive now its nearing completion. All in all we've had a fantastic time at Villa Timily, we're full of sunshine, and feel totally rested and relaxed, just what we needed. We've also met and got to know some lovely people during our stay. Alas, all good things must come to an end and the fourth of July has finally arrived and we'll soon be heading back to the not so sunny Manchester, so we've heard. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we have, you won't be disappointed we can assure you. Janice & Dave from Chorley Lancashire
