Wonderfully relaxing holiday

5 of 5
The villa was very spacious and extremely comfortable and would definately accomodate family & friends very easily. It had everything you could need while on holiday including a welcome pack of essential foods and even small touches like a cooler bag for picnics. The gardens were lovely with several fruit trees and a good size pool. It was a very secure villa with an electric gate & high walls.Debbie & her husband popped in to see if everything was ok and say hello. Tony who picked us up from the airport and completed the return journey was great, giving us information regarding best local restaurants and beaches. We spent a marvellous day at the Queens Palace and loved the small craft shop where we bought several quirky pieces of pottery. We had lunch at the small jazz bar, located just inside the entrance on the beach side. The beach at Kranevo had fine sand. The bar/restaurants at the back of the beach served great food and of course a cold, cold beer. The restaurant Del Mar became a favourite for evening meals, with fantastic low prices and good service along with a good meal. The purpose built resort at Albena had plenty of attractions and a nice beach. We found all the beaches we visited to be quiet and never felt that people were crowded or on top of each other. All the local Bulgarians we met were very friendly & helpful. We will definately be returning as we came home totally relaxed.

Great Apartment!

4 of 5
My two friends and I spent a week in this apartment this summer and we had a wonderful time. The apartment is well equipped (kitchen with microwave, kettle, sandwich toaster, washing machine, oven & hob) making for an easy self-catered holiday. The bedrooms and living area / kitchen were all spacious and immaculately cleaned. The bathroom was also clean but without natural ventilation or light - although there is a fan - this was not a problem as such, but worth noting. The shower was good, with plenty of hot water. There is a sofa-bed in a lounge so we were able to each have our own sleeping space. A cleaner visited the premises every morning except the weekend. The front & back balconies each have a great share of the sun. We used the DVD/CD player but could not get a signal for the TV. The complex also has a little shop which sells all the basics such as milk, eggs, bread, toilet roll etc. In addition, there is a bar which has a small menu of burgers, omelettes and sandwiches, all cheap and tasty. The office provides information for getting around the local area and to book various day trips etc. There is a property manager who assisted us with airport transfers and other transport requests. He was available every day if needed and on call pretty much around the clock. The swimming pool is great - clean and not too crowded as the complex is relatively small. Guests were a mix of adults and families. Noise was not an issue, the nights were quiet despite the apartments being situated close together. We liked the location of the apartment as it was just slightly outside of the main resorts - easily accessible for those looking for a few nights out. There is a shuttle bus from the complex to nearby Sunny Beach resort which is cheap and hourly, however this service did not run during the mid afternoon period which was a slight drawback when planning days out. Nearby Nessebar old town, with it's restaurants and shops is easily (and cheaply) reached by frequent public transport. St Vlas was also a short drive from here, a slightly more upmarket area with a well-staffed, beautiful beach featuring comfy sun loungers and umbrellas for a small fee. This apartment is excellent value for money and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break, peaceful but within easy reach of nightlife and day trips.
