San Remo is a delightful town on the Imperia Coastline in Liguria, or the ‘Italian Riviera of Flowers’ as it is colloquially known. The climate of San Remo is almost perfect. The area is specifically known as having some of the finest climatic conditions in Europe, with mild conditions lasting throughout the calendar. Average monthly temperatures in July and August remain around 23˚C, with daily peaks soaring up towards 30˚C with surprising regularity. Even during January, temperatures during the day are warm enough not to have to wear a jumper, as average monthly temperatures remain above 10˚C.
Nice International Airport (NCE) is just 45 minutes from San Remo villas by car. There are frequent flights from the UK landing in Nice, provided by airlines including British Airways, easyJet and BMIbaby. If you would prefer not to drive during your San Remo holiday, there is even a direct train connection to Nice.
