The temperatures in Central Mexico are warm throughout the year with average highs of 79 degrees Fahrenheit in April and May. The coolest months are December and January when the average high is 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The rainy season is generally between May and September. Generally July is the wettest month with an average rainfall of 7.2 inches.
Aeropuerto Internacional de Queretaro (QRO) is approximately one hour and 30 minute’s drive from San Miguel de Allende. Flights arrive here from Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), Houston-Intercontinental (IAH) and Monterrey (MTY). There are car rental firms located at the airport. Visitors from elsewhere can fly to Dallas and get a connecting flight to Aeropuerto Internacional de Queretaro. Flights arrive in Dallas from Amsterdam (AMS), Frankfurt (FRA), London-Heathrow (LHW), Los Angeles (LAX), Madrid (MAD), New York (JFK), Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Tokyo-Narita and Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) amongst others.
