We were all impressed with the villa from the moment we arrived. It is absolutely beautiful, very private, with beautiful gardens, pool and spotlessly clean. The kitchen and bathrooms are very contemporary with everything you could want.

Mark was fantastic from our very first enquiry right up to when we came back and refunded the security deposit within 24 hours of me providing my bank details. Dilek met us at the villa at 11 pm and made sure we were settled in before she left and popped back during the holiday to make sure we all ok. Really was the most fantastic service from beginning to end.

The villa is beautifully furnished, very well maintained from the bedrooms to the gardens, loads of towels, and large, spread out over three floors and exactly, if not better than, the pics.

Love Olu Deniz and the Blue Lagoon, the Ghost village and those sunny meditteranean afternoons of lazing by the pool without a care in the world. We will definitely be coming back again!

This was our 4th trip to Ovacik and certain the best and this was definately down to the Villa. The pictures certainly don't do it justice. It is beautiful, clean, spacious, private, quite, well equipped - could go on and on!! The owner was so efficient with his correspondance and made the whole process of renting his villa easy. Dilek, the lady who manages the villa was equally as helpful and so friendly and always at the end of the phone if anything was needed. There is no doubt that we will be returning to Ovacik again and seek to stay at Villa Alexander.

We have just returned from a fabulous week in Villa Alexander.

The location was great sandwiched between the Babadag valley and Olu Deniz on the edge of Ovacik.

I can highly recommend the villa which is finished inside to the highest of standards but is made very special by the outside dining terrace and the private pool area.

This villa has to be the best we have ever stayed in. Our expectations were high, having read the reviews, but we were delighted with the property. Everything has been completed to such a high standard and was immaculately clean. The pool area was a real sun trap and very private. It was a 15 minute stroll into Hisaronu, where there are some fantastic bars, restaurants and shops. It's immpossible to get bored here because there are so many trips to go on. A visit to Olu Deniz and the Blue Lagoon is a must, as is one of the amazing boat trips. Most trips pick you up and drop you off.I could go on about this place forever but I won't bore you anymore. I'll end by saying that everything ran smoothly from start to finish, aided greatly by Dilek(villa manager), who was charming and helpful throughout.

We found the villa very modern and relaxing with enough room for all six of us, without getting under each others feet.

The pool is drenched by the sun from the moment you awake until early evening. The guide to the best local attractions and restaurants is very nice and helpful touch.

This was our third visit to turkey and can easily say our best so far and hugely thanks to the villa.

We have been holidaying in villa's for years and this is probably one of the best offerings we have come across. As my husband said as we sat on the balcony one evening with the kids out this is probably the easiest holiday we ever been on!

From our first enquiry everything was responded to punctually with our questions answered, additional information supplied, transfers arranged and useful arrival information sent a few weeks before we left.

On arrival the villa was everything we had expected and so much more. The photo's didn't do the place justice or convey the size. Arriving late at night you also expect things to be a little fraught but with a great welcome pack that contained everything you could need and a god-send of beers & wine in the fridge, tonic and ice we all dumped cases and sat down for a welcoming holiday drink and with enough food supplied for a good breakfast you immediately just begin to relax.

Next day and really getting to know the place we realised we had hit upon a real winner here. Loads of towels, fantastic bathrooms, a kitchen I am ashamed to say was better equipped than my own! Beautiful gardens and pool, all private to the villa and so much space over the the 3 floors most of time we didn't realise we even had 4 teenagers with us! Supermarkets were easily found and we did a big shop to set us up.

The area itself is great with so much to do both during the day and night, the kids went paragliding and partied in Hisaronu most nights. The villa is in a great location, a few minutes walk from the start of the restaurants and bars but far enough away to be quiet and private. We went to beach & lagoon and did two great boat trips. There is a list of recommended places in the villa to visit or eat at and they were spot on each time.

This really is a top class offering in terms of standard, location & value for money. Would definitely come back again.

Our family of 6 had very high expectations when arriving in Turkey as had spent the previous months up to our holiday reading all the fantastic reviews prior. On arrival all our expectations were met if not exceeded.

The villa is top spec and has a lovely feel about it. It worked perfectly for our 2 children whose bedrooms were next to ours on the top floor, leaving my parents in the bottom floor double room leading into the pool lounge – almost like their own suite! All bathrooms had rain forest showers giving the feel of a boutique hotel. The kitchen was very modern with a fully equipped stock of plates, glasses and cutlery meaning you could easily stay in to eat. The pool lounge was brilliant for the children when they needed to get out of the midday sun, the large room meant they could play or even sleep on the day beds or watch TV. We bought DVD’s with us as the satellite TV had no English channels. The pool area and gardens are very well kept and the pool cleaned daily – the temperature was also perfect, which meant the kids were never out of it.

However the location of the villa was what really made our holiday. Situated in Ovacik means you have the best of both worlds. You have the peace and tranquillity by day with only the crickets for background noise but you also have restaurants in walking distances. For those looking for a more lively atmosphere including bars and nightclubs Hisaronu can be reached by foot in 10 mins. Hisaronu was not really our cup of tea but for those looking for more lively resort it offers a good and safe atmosphere. This meant there is no need for a car, especially as the taxis are everywhere and easily contactable.

Restaurants we enjoyed the most were the Olive Tree in Hisaronu . This can be found right the way through the town and offers top quality Turkish food. Sarnic which is in the next town KayKoy or the Ghost town is really worth a visit as it is set with the ruins as a back drop and you sit under the Olive trees whilst background Jazz music is played.

Lastly the Blue Lagoon is truly spectacular and perfect for children as the waters are crystal clear, teeming with fish and shallow. We got there around 9am and it was empty till about 1100 so no fighting for the sun chairs at this resort.

In essence the best villa holiday we have had!

The villa was stunning! We would highly recommend a stay there.
The villa was clean, well equipped and spacious with stunning views of the surrounding area.
It is located at the foot of the mountains which means walking to the local shops etc. is all down hill, the journey back is quite steep which was a problem for the oldest member of our party, luckily taxis are cheap and easy to find.
We had a minor problem with the villa but after contacting the after care team as instructed the problem was solved quickly.
There are a mind boggling amount of excursions on offer but our favorites were the Jeep Safari and the 12 Island boat trip (on a smaller boat) and you must try a Turkish bath.
There’s a wide choice of restaurants in the town but we also found it quiet relaxing using the delivery service for pizza etc.
The exchange rate seems to be better in Turkey than the UK so if you take sterling rather than travelers cheques then you avoid commission charges.
We enjoyed our holiday and would come back again and stay in Marc's villa.
