Second visit to this holiday beach house.
We lov ethe area & despite the bad weather had a great week- lots of card games & board games.
A visit to the Pilot is always good & the traditionaltrain ride to Dungeness for lunch at the Brittannia.
Great to see the table on the new decked platform with sea views & did manage to sit & enjoy a glass of wine in the sun.

Lovely beachside location - very picturesque

Just spent the October half term week here with husband, 15 year old, 12 year old and Rottweiler - one of the best holidays we have had. Location is perfect, the sloping garden leading to the scrub of the sand dunes makes a lovely wind break but the beach itself is breathtaking - miles of gently sloping sand which we appreciated even this time of the year. Weather was very kind to us but the bungalow was very homely and lovely and warm when we felt the need for heating. It was a real home from home with all the facilities and the contents - most kitchen implements included - the only thing we couldn't find was a pair of scissors. Definately more good than bad - all the rooms are a nice size, beds comfy, bungalow clean. Very few minor niggles to be honest, nothing that would stop us going again. A real shame was that we weren't allowed to use the fire in the lounge - it would have made it true cottage-cosiness!
Lovely area of Kent to explore if you like walking so especially great holiday for the dog! We went as far south as Hastings, and as far north as Canterbury but mainly stayed in the immediate vicinity of Dungeness, Dymchurch, Hythe, Folkestone and Dover. Walked on the beach every day and made sure we got up nice and early to see the sunrise over the sea - beautiful pictures.
Greatstone Fish & Chip shop - amazing food! Our last night treat and it was lovely. Spar down the road was 'convenient' but expensive so best to shop in Sainsburys in New Romney - only a couple of miles away at the most.
I would definately recommend this bungalow to anyone - I don't know that I would pay summer prices for it for only the four of us but as an autumn/winter location it was worth the money.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments, I am so pleased you enjoyed your holiday.
The fire is just a feature, as the chimney stack was removed years ago.
I will get scissors, I didn't realise they were missing.
Thank you once again & hope to see you again.

First, I apologize for my bad English. Communication with the agency was uncomplicated. The house is described. We were 1 week before Easter there, and enjoyed it very much. Very good accessibility of Ashford, Folkestone, Canterbury and London (1 hour 15 minutes by car). Directly behind the house to begin the dunes and the beach. Very nice holiday.
