This is an undiscovered jewel and a MUST if you like space, appreciate friendly service, want to relax in comfort and enjoy Bali! The property is beautifully and lovingly maintained and the listing description and photos are entirely accurate. The staff are a delight and the owner provided excellent customer service. We would definitey recommend this property to others and have already done so.
We particualry enjoy the area of Sanur and the property location as it was quiet, yet the beach, restuarants, shops were in easy walking distance. We would recommend that guests enjoy what Sanur has to offer and our three pre-teen children enjoyed paddling and sailing in the lagoon reef. A family highlight was going to Surf School for 5 days and visiting the Elephant Park.
You will not be disappointed in choosing this stunning villa and all it has to offer.

We spend 2 weeks in the beautiful villa and once a day we said how lucky we are that we have found this place for our holidays. It was just like we saw it before on the webpages!
The island is also very nice, people are very friendly. The staff did an excellent job, serving us very kindly. We used the service of Thomas, for driving us around the island. This was a very good choice, he knew his way and the interesting places to go to. we can recommend this domicil for families, but also for couples without children. We hope we come back some time in the future.

Die Villa Seriska ist ein wunderschönes Haus. Sie ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Das Team kümmert sich sehr um die Gäste und ist immer hilfsbereit. Besonders der Kontakt mit Nilesh dem Besitzer war sehr gut. Er hat uns am ersten Abend mit dem kompletten Team begrüßt, uns alles gezeigt und viel über Bali erzählt. Auch zwischendurch kam er mal vorbei, um zu sehen, ob es uns gut geht und uns gefällt. Am letzten Tag hat er sich auch noch einmal persönlich von uns verabschiedet. Nochmals vielen Dank für Alles Nilesh!!!

Auch die Lage der Villa ist super. Zum Strand sind es nur einige Meter durch eine kleine Gasse und an ein paar Strand-Shops vorbei. Auch der nächste kleine Supermarkt ist nur ein paar Meter entfernt. Möchte man zu einem etwas größeren Supermarkt (Hardy´s), kann man an der Straße oder am Strand entlang laufen und benötigt ca. 15 Minuten.

Sanur ist im Gegensatz zu Kuta ziemlich ruhig und erholsam. Die Restaurants an der Straße entlang waren alle super lecker! Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben, um alle Restaurants zu testen.

Am Strand entlang gibt es viele Einheimische, die ebenfalls Ausflüge anbieten. Wir haben zwei Ausflüge mit Made Schumacher gemacht und waren sehr zufrieden. Er spricht ein bisschen deutsch, erklärt alles gut und ist sehr nett.

Wir waren zu 7 im Juni 2011 für 12 Nächte in der Villa Seriska und es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Wir können die Villa Seriska jedem empfehlen und möchten natürlich selbst auch noch einmal wieder kommen.

From the moment we arrived at Villa Seriska we knew that we were in for a wonderful stay. The staff, Thomas, Putra, Ketut, Iluh and Anna welcomed us with a cool fruit drink. we weree then given a tour of the villa. The rooms are spacious,comfortable and clean with all the mod consincluding flat screen TV, DVD and computer for those who need their technology fix. We started our day with a dip in the pool followed by a breakfast which is filling enough to last way past lunch time. My husband celebrated his Birthday while we were there and Thomas arranged cake and flowers and a surprise present. If you are after a quiet relaxing holiday away from the maddening crowds then Sanur ticks all the boxes and if you do feel the urge to party the night away then Thomas will arrange for a driver to take you to Kuta/Legian. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Urlaub in der wunderschönen Villa Seriska. Das ist mit Abstand das schönste Haus, das wir je für unseren Urlaub gebucht haben. Das gesamte Team der Villa ist unglaublich zuverlässig, was für uns wirklich sehr wichtig ist. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Man fühlt sich wirklich rundum wohl und sehr sicher in der Villa und das gesamte Personal (inkl. des Wachpersonals der Gesamtanlage) ist super freundlich. Die Lage der Villa ist wirklich perfekt. Ortszentrum und Strand sind in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Für Familien ist Sanur wahrscheinlich der beste Ort auf Bali, da er für die Ausflüge sehr zentral gelegen ist, das ruhige Wasser vor dem Riff sehr gut für kleine Kinder geeignet ist und der Ort im Vergleich zu Kuta doch ruhiger und beschaulicher ist. Und es ist trotzdem alles vorhanden, was man zu einem gelungenen Urlaub benötigt. Anders als in Nusa Dua, wo wir uns wahrscheinlich etwas gelangweilt hätten. Es war wirklich ein sehr schöner Urlaub auf einer sehr schönen Insel, die wir noch gar nicht komplett erkundet haben (dafür sind 12 Tage einfach zu kurz). Wir werden sicherlich irgendwann noch einmal zurück kommen. Und dann natürlich wieder in die Villa Seriska."

First I would like to say a big thank you to everyone of the team of Villa Seriska. We immediately felt at home. The ladies kept the house and the garden beautifully clean and prepared a wonderful breakfast and the chef has cooked lots of superb meals for us. Our younger son loves his crepes with honey and ice cream and his brother loves the beef sausages. And both likes the breakfast very much (the rest of us too). Every morning the children hopes that some of the toasts will left over to feed the fishes. Thomas has shown them how to do that. The pool and the gazebo are really great. We all enjoy playing cards at the gazebo and swimming in the pool. The children often say that they want to stay the whole day at the villa. But there was so much to see at Bali, so mostly the only time to use the great facilities of Villa Seriska was early in the morning or in the evening. Every time when we open the main door of Villa Seriska it was a fantastic view and it really feels like coming home. Everyone of the Villa Seriska team is very reliable. Whenever we ordered breakfast at 07:00 a.m. it has been prepared at that time. Thomas was always there, at every place and at every time we have arranged. Thank you so much for that!! We always rent a house/villa for our holidays. But this has been the best house we have ever had. We have felt very secure at every time. Everyone is very friendly including the security guards at the access of the villas. The location of the villa is fantastic. Beach and centre of Sanur are only a stone's throw away. Sanur is great for families. Because of the reef swimming is always possible for younger children. There are lots of restaurants at the beach where you can go to with children. For day trips Sanur is a very good starting point in every direction. We will recommend this villa to all of our friends! And we will come back again to see the rest of this wonderful island (12 days are too short to see everything) and of course we will stay at Villa Seriska again!!

We got to calling the villa “home” while we were there for 2 weeks-it was an oasis in the hustle, bustle & heat of Bali. Villa is on a side street just off the main drag of Sanur, no street noise at all, only an occasional rooster. Won’t rehash on the villa details-others have covered it well- it is really lovely. Will mention: Pool was well chlorinated-it was great, we used it multiple times a day. There is consistent wifi through out the villa, which is nice for skype calls & staying wired (if needed). We were able to use our wifi features on our mobiles/blackberries without a hitch. The bathrooms were a little buggy, but that’s the tropics- they put out mosquito coils nightly and did a spray down of the room. They also provided a mosquito net for our son’s crib/pack-n-play. We opted to cook some of our dinners-you can pick up provisions at Hardy’s the local grocery store. There are basic cooking utensils available in the kitchen, but if you plan on doing anything more than a basic pasta dish, you should plan accordingly. Tap water is not filtered, but there is a big jug of filtered water provided for drinking. There are a lot of ants everywhere, can’t be helped since it’s the tropics, just beware that you can’t leave food lying around. This was our first visit to Sanur- it has a nice relaxed vibe to it. The boardwalk is fantastic-nice to be away from the buzz of motorcycles and street traffic. The Villa Seriska staff goes above & beyond. They were particularly gracious with our son. Breakfast was great- ask for the banana pancakes. Mr. Ketut (chef) made us dinner 4 nights, including an incredible seafood extravaganza. He is a really skilled; pricing was reasonable & it was a nice option on lazy nights. The lovely ladies kept the villa in order, and were discreet but friendly. Thomas (driver) was available to take us on trips to Ubud (we went 3 times), and had good recommendations on a Jimbaran Bay fish restaurant and a gallery for some artwork. Nilesh (owner) was a real pleasure to correspond with in planning our stay; he dropped by a couple of times to make sure everything was going smoothly (it was). No matter the length of your stay, you will find it impossible not to be fully relaxed by the time you leave. We hope to find ourselves back at Villa Seriska in the near future.

The villa is really nice - large, clean, luxurious, and with an excellent service. We tried eating out a couple of times but the food which the chef Ketut prepared was at a level surpassing all restaurants on the island, even those in 5-star hotels.
We also found it much more enjoyable to stay in the oasis of peace of the villa, swim in the pool, order in-house massages and gourmet dinners than to venture out to the beach which is nice but with a bit too much local color for our tastes.
The only problem during our holiday is that the villa is really not suited for very young children, as we found out as we were there with a toddler. The combination of swimming pool, a pond with a bridge of tiles crossing it and a garden full of plants whose taste he wanted to try meant a full time job to keep him safe. The owner Nilesh and the staff did their best to help us with this; Nilesh actually suggested that he provides a full -time nanny to help us which could have been a solution, but if you don't want a nanny around you all the time just leave the young children at home before visiting Bali :).
