I stayed in the Loch Linnhe waterfront Lodges for 2 nights on the 15th March until the 17th March and all i can do is say what a lovely time i had. Between the lovely comfortable lodges and the Holly Tree Hotel there was everything to hand. The hotel has a small pool wich we used and it was great fun as i was with my granddaughter, son and daughter-in-law and they really spoilt me for my birthday. We went to the restuarant on the saturday night and had a fantastic meal there was lots to choose from including seafood. I had the venison steak and it was cooked to perfection and the portion was huge i could,nt finish it. The lodges are comfortable and lovely and cosy and have everything in them including games. The view was stunning from the veranda and there was lots of walks you could do. I would recommend the lodges for a lovely break and as a focal point to go and see lots of different places. I would go back again and hope to do so

We chose to go to the lodges as an alternative to the usual bank holiday trip to London that we usually make. We couldn't have been more happier with our choice. The lodges are set in the most picturesque setting overlooking snow capped mountains on the edge of a sea loch. The lodges are owned by the hotel and you can use the facilities including pool, gym, restaurant and bar. The lodges have two bedrooms, a double and a twin. A fully fitted kitchen, diner and lounge with a fire and patio doors. We were lucky enough to have gone when it was Burns night and went to the hotel for a Burns dinner, this was great and our first experience of highland hospitality. We got back to our lodge and snuggled down with a brew with the lights out just watching the cars snake their way down the mountains. Would love to go back and would not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone. The staff were fabulous and really friendly and helped make our stay memorable.

Frist, the view. Each lodge (there seemed to be eight of these), has an unrestricted view over the loch from a small balcony with table and chairs. The balcony is a great place to see the weather as is changes rapdily (this is Scotland!) from clear blue sky to snow (yes in May!). Beacuse of the way the lodges are positioned the balcony area is quite private.
Our lodge had tow bedrooms, a tiwn and a double. Both were small, the twin especially so and the beds were unyielding and uncomfortable. The bathroom was small and neat, although the A frame of the lodge does mean tall people find using the WC needs contortions.
The living area was a decent size with kitchen area attached. The kitchen has a full size cooker and is well equipped.

Overall to be recommended if you want a self catering option in the Loch Linnhe area. The restaurant at the Holly Tree hotel is to be recommended for fish, but is certainly not cheap. Lodge users can access the hotel's swimming pool which is a bonus for this area

We stayed for a week in May - 4 adults and a young baby. We all had a fantastic time - the lodge was very comfortable and spacious with a fabulous view of the Loch from the lounge area. The decking area was great, it's just a shame the weather didn't allow us to sit out on it much, but the large patio doors allowed us to enjoy the view from inside. The lodge were closer to the hotel than I realised, but this was not a problem, especially as we used the swimming pool (great) and enjoyed a meal in the hotel restaurant. The hotel and lodges are in a great location in the area as you are close to lots of lovely places. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay and I would highly recommend it. I look forward to being able to stay here again one day.

The lodges are well furnished and comfortable. The view on loch and mountains is most of the time stunning. The hotel next door is home of the swimming pool and a nice bar and restaurant. The location is perfect for exploring the west of Scotland.
We, family of five, with three teenage boys, had a perfect stay.

We paid quite a lot of money for this property and I have to admit that the views were stunning, but the lodge itself needed a lot of remedial work to match up. The large glass doors to the private balcony required two people with muscle to open and close, if you thought you might need to lock them at night or while you were away! The light in the bathroom didn't work, and the staff couldn't fix it and were offering table lamps! (my husband fixed it in the end.) The standard of cleanliness was less than brilliant - windows smeary, cooker hood just dripped grease when used, shower just a dribble and a curtain that barely stopped all the water going on the floor. Not really enough room for a dog to run around when stated as pet friendly place.
Staff were lovely and friendly. Restaurant very nice. Location, location, location!

Les chalets sont très confortablement équipés avec tout le nécessaire pour des vacances reposantes (il ne manque que le lave vaisselle) et une vue imprenable sur le lac et les montagnes, différente chaque jour selon la météo ! La proximité de l'hôtel avec sa superbe piscine et la vidéothèque est un atout pour les ados qui ont pu mener une vie indépendante pendant la semaine ! Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité du personnel qui a répondu à tous nos besoins avec rapidité et gentillesse.
Les chalets sont bien pour 4 personnes, un peu juste pour 5, le lit d'appoint n'est pas du tout confortable et un canapé lit dans le salon serait sans doute mieux.
Attention : la connexion wi-fi annoncée dans les chalets est très très faible et accessible seulement dans la petite chambre, il faut donc utiliser celle de l'hôtel.
La voiture est indispensable.
Le seul point noir est la proximité de la route juste derrière les chalets, côté chambres, beaucoup de circulation et très bruyante dès 6h du matin ...

A lodge right at Loch Linnhe, an excellant place to start sightseeing tours in all directions, as long as you have a car. Without a car, you are completely lost. You even need it for shopping. Youl'll find a nice kitchen for all sorts of meals and a sitting room with a superb view over Loch Linnhe. We were 5 persons; one of us slept on a not too comfortable folding bed in the sitting room. Carpets, dishes, pans, forks and knives weren't very clean. The pool was nice, with a view over the Loch. For the 1st evening you should reserve a table in the hotel or in a restaurant in Ballaculish. It was nearly impossible to find a free table for 5 without reservation.
