Angelo, the owner, is a perfect host and the apartment is beautiful, well-equipped and conveniently located for the town centre, shops and restaurants.
We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to return to Varandas de Sapadores or to Lisbon!

Wonderful Stay at Varandas de Sapadores!

Our family had a wonderful 9-day stay in Angelo's beautiful and spacious apartment, which has all the conveniences and comforts of home. As advertised, it is located in a residential area with excellent access to the bus and #28 trolley. There is a small grocery store and numerous little shops within a few minutes walking distance.
The host, Angelo, was very kind and gracious upon our arrival, and we would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great place from which to explore the beautiful city of Lisbon!

Lovely spacious apartment in Graça district. Apartment quiet, well lit, well equipped. Well located on bus and tram lines. Neighborhood picturesque and has convenient shopping. Owner a delight to deal with.

Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre semaine à Lisbonne. Appartement parfait pour notre petite famille de 4. Très bien équipé et bien situé : hors du Centre mais bien desservi par plusieurs bus et par le fameux et charmant tram 28E. Angelo nous attendait comme prévu malgré notre arrivée tardive.

Un accueil chaleureux dans un appartement spacieux et très confortable, situé à proximité du tramway et des bus qui permettent de se rendre au coeur de la ville rapidement. L'endroit est calme et frais le matin. Les commerces sont également à proximité.

Séjour très agréable dans un appartement spacieux, propre et bien équipé.
Un accueil chaleureux et sympathique en plus d'une écoute et disponibilité du propriétaire.
Situé a 10 min du métro, 3 minutes de l'electrico, le bus passe au pas de la porte et à peine 30 minutes du coeur de Lisbonne. Petits commerces à proximité, cafés.....

Angelo has been a great Host

Good things:
1. Place is big, can fit up to 7 ppl. w/ sofa side mattresses in the place.
2. Good neighborhood + old town and a few attractions are close by.
3. Fun to ride the 28E tram back, lots to see along the way. Must ride.
4. Well equipped with everything in need. there is even a BBQ grill out on the terrace!!
5. Angelo has been very patient with all of our fussy enquiries...thank you!
Things needed noting:
1. Fees for central heating, a/c, cleaning charges and wifi is added as extra above the rental fee.
2. Funny that the apartment is always cooler than outside, it can be quite chilly staying inside without turning on the heat in the winter time...
3. Strange smell coming out of the washroom. Nothing major, just being picky when the apartment has nothing to pick on!
Yes, I will definitely recommend this apartment to others for its price, cleaniness, comfort, location and hospitality from the host.
ps. Angelo, we had a hard time finding the apartment as there was no road no. shown on the brief you sent us. Kindly add that back so others will find you easier. ;)

El apartamento está equipado con todo lo que puedes necesitar, está bien situado en la ciudad, en la linea del tranvia 28 y dispones de la comodidad de plaza de garaje cubierto. Dando un paseo llegas al centro comodamente porque todo es cuesta abajo, eso si el regreso mejor hacerlo en algun tipo de transporte, como indiqué anteriormente el tranvia 28 es muy buena opción.
El propietario Angelo es muy atento, buena persona y puedes preguntarle cualquier cosa que necesites.
Sin duda lo recomendamos a nuestros amigos y familiares, e incluso en una próxima visita a la ciudad, iremos directamente a este lugar.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Vérandas de Sapadores.
L'appartement est très agréable avec tout le nécessaire. On se sent chez soi. Le Tram 28 est à 3mn de l'appartement, ce qui est très pratique pour rejoindre le centre et toutes les autres lignes de bus et tram. Un point fort, également, pour la disponibilité d'Angelo (le propriétaire) qui nous a bien aidé lorsque nous avons eu besoin de lui. (hospitalisation de notre fille, plus de peur que de mal) Quand nous reviendrons à Lisbonne, nous viendrons chez Angelo, c'est sûre.

Close to Transport , Great Accomodation

A lovely appartment from which to base your Lisbon Holiday . Everything was provided as stated and made for a great stay .Angelo and Sonia made me feel at home and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.I didn't have a car , so I didn't need the parking .The bus stop near the front door was a bonus as it gave me access to the entire Lisbon transport system..Bus,Tram and Metro. I used all three extensively and with ease , always feeling safe . Day trips to Cascais/Estoril (where you can stand on the westernmost tip of Europe ) and Sintra/Mafra were great using non metro trains/buses ,and road trips to Obidos,Evora (a very old walled city to the east) Setubal/Arribida and Bomboral were good value too .Beautiful seafood can be found in most waterfront locations in Lisbon and further out ,especially in Ericeira , Setubal and Peniche the latter on the coast coming home from Obidos (a village and castle inside great walls) . Of course whenever I had time I visited Belem on the modern trams to buy some more delightful Portuguese " Pasteis de Nata " Absoolutely delicious ,usually none left by the time I returned to the appartment . I loved being in Lisbon , the food and the accompaning wine ,the atmosphere and the people will bring me back again .
