Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday cottage in Penzance - Rosemary Cottage
Secluded pretty cottage in Penzance with only an 2 minute walk to shops

Rosemary cottage is tucked away at the end of a very pretty, private courtyard in the heart of the old part of the town. Just behind the world famous Abbey hotel and historic Chapel St, it combines the benefits of privacy with easy access to the towns attractions.

The waterfront is literally round the corner where you can see St. Michaels mount beyond the Scillonian berthed at the west Quay. The cottage has been tastefully refurbished by the owner local artist Bo Hilton and has fine examples of well known local art on the walls.

It has a charming slate floored, walled, front garden and parking for one car. An ideal base for those wanting a peaceful break but easy access to restaurants, galleries and night life.

Lovely cottage in great location

This cottage was perfect for our family of 4. It was cosy (we were there in February!) and well equipped. We are car free so the location was perfect, close to the train and bus station. We had no problem in getting around all the local attractions by public transport. The broadband access was especially useful as the tourist information office was undergoing refurbishment when we were there. It was a great time of year to visit Cornwall as everything was quiet and easily accessible. There was so much to see and do in the area...it's an easy walk along the beach to St Michael's Mount, short train journey to twee St Ives, a hilarious double decker bus journey along windy Cornish roads to Land's End and a visit to the local cinema which was real change from the bog standard multiplex. We had a fabulous week.
Owner's Response: Thanks for your review I'm so glad you had a great stay. Thank you also for pointing out the ease of getting about by public transport.
The cottage is ideally located for the charms of Penzance and West Cornwall.

peaceful but very convenient.

We had a wonderful holiday in Rosemary cottage. It has a lovely atmosphere, being very light and tastefully furnished.
The courtyard was ideal for barbecues and it was very convenient being centrally in Penzance but also quiet and secluded tucked away in Abbey mews.

It´s a beautiful little cottage in a hidden place. We drove more than 800 miles to spend our holiday in cornwall, and every mile was it whorth. The description and the pictures of rosemary cottage are perfect. The cottage is in a quiet old part of penzance .If you don´t like noisy seagulls, don´t spend your holiday at the sea.The entrance to the courtyard is a bit tricky if you drive a big car, but possible.
We spend our holidays more than 20 years in the U.K. and it´s one of the best places we´ve been.
Thank you
