Amazing Holiday Aug 08
What a lovely holiday we had staying at this villa, myself, husband and two children (12 and 15 years) had so much fun. The weather was great and the villa was very clean and tidy and had everything you could need, it’s like home from home. Extremely comfortable and well-equipped, I was so impressed with the garden.The welcome pack that was there on our arrival was a lovely idea, it had all the things you need to start your holiday, so no need to rush to the shops when you get there. We all needed a break from busy London, and we certainly got that from staying at this wonderful villa, waking up to that lovely Spectacular view of the hills, and having breakfast outside on the terrace.
The girls loved having a bedroom with a ensuite bathroom, and the pool just outside, we all had so much fun in the pool.
We would recommend this villa as a place to relax or to use as a base to explore the local area, lots of information is left at the villa, so you can choose what to do throughout your stay.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again Karen, for being so helpful and friendly from the outset. You made us feels very welcome and we will definitely come back again. I would also just like to mention the gardener/pool man, because he keeps the garden and pool very clean and tidy. We’ve never stayed in a villa so well kept! See you next year.

Fantastic
We came here from your other villa as we wanted a 2 weeks, and once again what a fantastic villa. We really enjoyed your welcome pack, a lovely idea. All information in your villa is very useful. this villa is beautiful.
We have been renting villas for a few years now and this is the best, we all including our children had such a lovely time. 10 out of 10

Dream holiday
This was a dream holiday, we stayed in the villa which was very clean and tidy.
The welcome pack is such a great idea (thanks Karen) it saved us rushing off to the shops. We stayed here with our children who had a fab time, we couldn't keep them out of the pool. Karen is such a lovely, kind lady she is just so helpful, she gave us advice on different places to visit.
All bedrooms have their own private bathroom/shower just total bliss.
we will being coming back next year. We all had a great time Relaxing and exploring. We would like to thank you Karen for all you have done.

Best holiday ever
Casa Sagitario was a dream holiday, high standand of cleaning, well equipped, very comfortable, pure luxury and a very romanic setting. we chose this property for our honeymoon, and it truly lived up to much more then we expected. The romantic evenings in the tropical garden, pool lights, the coloured garden lights, just made us want to burst with happiness. Thank-you Karen for a wonderful welcome, we'd love to come back very soon.

A well equipped villa ideal for families
Casa Sagitario provided a perfect base and is ideal for two families as has plenty of space, good sized rooms, particularly the bedroom upstairs, and all with ensuite bathrooms.
It was also well equipped and very clean with plenty of floats, buckets and spades and parasols for the beach.
The pool is superb and well located allowing parents to watch over the kids from the kitchen or terrace. Situated in a very quiet location, the villa is only a 5 minute drive into Calonge which has a good market on Thursday and a great butchers and bakers. It's also just a 10 minute drive to the coast but we preferred the beaches in Calella, Llafranc and around Begur. The restaurant opposite the supermarket on the way to the village (sorry forgot the name) offered great food although the service was slow. We would highly recommend this villa and would consider returning as the Costa Brava is a wonderfully unspoilt part of Spain, with few Brits, and makes an ideal getaway.
It's also just 90 minutes from Barcelona and 40 minutes from Girona (which is well worth a visit).

Family holiday at Casa Sagitario
This is one of the best designed and equipped holiday houses I have stayed in. One bedroom, the sitting/dining room and kitchen form the 3 wings of the house which back onto the pool. Each has doors opening onto the pool area. This means that you can watch your kids in the pool whilst you are in the house and a "summer kitchen" is not necessary. The 4 bedrooms each have good bathrooms. The kitchen is also well designed and equipped. We did not find the lack of air conditioning a problem; closing windows and curtains against the afternoon sun was enough to keep the temperature inside OK (but I don't think the temperature exceded 30 throughout our stay, which helped). There are fans in each bedroom if necessary. Locally, you can pick from sandy beaches (we liked Castel) , hilltop villages (go to Pals), trips to Figueras (Dali museum) and Barcelona. Lots of info at the house and Karen is very friendly and helpful.

Family Celebration 2008
We enloyed a very pleasant stay in this lovely house in the early weeks of june, 2008. The four bedrooms with private bathrooms provided the privacy needed, for our family with four couples and two grandchildren. Karen, the propertymanager, was very friendly and helpfull and provided us with additional beds for the children and extra satellite receiving equipment for the international and sports channels. The house was clean, the garden and lawn tidy, with full privacy and a magnificient view of the nearby hills. There is a lot of reading material available in the house, including brochures of places of interest, golf info and inf on restaurants. We enjoyed for instance the small fish restaurant "Petit Bar", at the harbour in Palamos and the upscale "Can Roquet" at Santa Cristina d'Aro.
Points for improvement: The TV-set is old and reception is (still) too much UK oriented. The airconditioning is not available to renters, this is unacceptable and definitely a showstopper in the spanish summer.

Owner's Response: Wonderful comments from our first clients this year. The TV, has been replaced (the original TV was in for repair) This is the first year, that we've had international clients, so, a new digibox receiving all free channels, as well as sky, is now at the property. The property does NOT have air-conditioning, but there are fans in all the bedrooms for the summer months. In the living room there are two storage heaters, it is possible that these were mistaken for air-conditioning units. The Owner.
